Tom, Ben or Sam?

These seem to be the only three boys names DH and I just about agree on. I'd put Thomas Benjamin or Samuel on the birth cirtificate, but would use the shortened versions from day to day. Your order of preference please? Thanks!

Tom, Sam & Ben is my order of preference.

Thomas Benjamin, however, sounds wonderful.

growing3rdbump · 31/01/2011 16:10

Ben, Tom, Sam.
I agree with Allie though Thomas Benjamin does sounds good.

Bumpsadaisie · 31/01/2011 16:13

Tom, Sam, Ben. Love Thomas in particular.

expectingno3 · 31/01/2011 16:15

Thanks everyone! Looks like Tom is currently top. Tom is DH's favourite. Mine is still Ben I think. Oh decisions decisions...

I have a friend whose three boys ARE Ben, Sam and Tom.

Lancelottie · 31/01/2011 16:19

...and another two, come to think of it, who have two out of the three. Maybe don't use them all up on your first child, just in case?

sancerrre · 31/01/2011 16:21

Ben, Sam, Tom in that order. All great names.

Zaft · 31/01/2011 16:22

Tom Sam Ben in that order.

McDreamy · 31/01/2011 16:22

I love all 3! We have a Ben but I think he might have been Tom if the dog wasn't already called that! (Didn't think that through did we Hmm. Love Sam too but DH's godson is called Sam. Smile

Ben, Tom, Sam. All good friendly naems I think.

Please note though, there will be hundreds of them in your sons class at school. I have one of the above it's a nightmare!

Sam Ben Tom

Firawla · 31/01/2011 18:50

all are nice but sam is the nicest

Guacamole · 31/01/2011 18:55

These are my kind of names. They suit babies and grown men, very classic, my order would be...

Sam
Ben (I have to say I quite like Benedict as well as Benjamin)
Tom

Hedwig3 · 31/01/2011 20:25

Sam

Closely followed by Tom (but I don't like Thomas)

sparkle12mar08 · 31/01/2011 20:35

Ben, Sam, Tom. Tom last by a long way - far, far too popular for me. And I wouldn't go with Benjamin for Ben either - as above, Benedict is much nicer.
