First time I've seen it spelt like that!
Know a honey but never met a hunni!

Chava/Chavi is Hebrew

ThatllDoPig · 15/11/2010 18:16

The Chavi Rose family were definitely not Indian or Hebrew.

emptyshell · 15/11/2010 18:24

Taught a Hunni (spelt that way). Gorgeous kid, but I doubt the name will suit as a stroppy adolescent.

carrielou2007 · 15/11/2010 21:51

Have a friend called her daughter Misty Rose (her daughter that is, not her cat) then called her son Sonny. I like the name Sonny but when pregnant for the third time we all thought the baby would be called thundercloud or some such - he is called Jasper Grin

clumsymumluckybaby · 15/11/2010 23:22

When I was pregnant,I wanted to name dc2 honey beatrix so I could nn her honey bee.

Good job dc2 was a boy,eh!?

HystericalMe · 15/11/2010 23:25

I knew of a Misty-Blue at high school! There was also a Blaze (girl), Apryl, and quite a few girls named Demi /Demii/Dem-ee! Now for a real shocker -all from the same family- and no I'm not making this up!!! Girls: Ellesse, Chelsea & Real -^ above a (twins) and boys: Ashton & Ellis, I'll let you figure out the various Footie clubs / grounds that correspond! The mind really does boggle!!!
There really ought to be rules for preventing nonsense /cruel names being given to these poor children!!! When my aunt registered my cousin Alex's (girl) birth back in the 60's the registrar would not allow Alex as it was a non-name, so he made my aunt use Alexandra! I wonder what he'd make of this little lot!

MelinaM · 15/11/2010 23:50

thesecondcoming Oh my, that really is priceless!!!

sharbie · 16/11/2010 00:03

i used to love reading local paper baby comps for hilarious names - summa lovin was my absolute fave

sparkle12mar08 · 16/11/2010 10:01

I can't find a Summa Lovin to date but I did spot a Summa Darlin' and a Summer-L which might be it? What posseses some people?

clumsymumluckybaby · 16/11/2010 12:40

my dd's nn has somehow morphed into bugsy malone..i do wonder if people think thats her real name sometimes...Blush Grin

Suncottage · 16/11/2010 12:46

I have heard of twin girls called Pepsi and Bacardi, two sisters called Sunshine and Harmony and a little girl called Beardsly.

I sometimes get a little bit tearful for them

MelinaM · 16/11/2010 20:37

BacardiShock Terrible!

lilly13 · 16/11/2010 20:44

sounds awful. sorry. what's the full name for this? surely, he can't go all his life as as a hunni boney?

midori1999 · 17/11/2010 00:21

I know someone who has named her twin boys Blake and Blaine. Singley... maybe, but for twins?!

I like the name Honey, but am not sure an adult named it would be taken seriously. And Hunni?! Confused

wussbird · 17/11/2010 15:00

I know twins called Ronnie and Reggie. Serious sense of humour needed to do that, methinks!

sleepysox · 17/11/2010 15:05

Ben Fogle has a son called Ludo.

The other day I heard a baby called Lily-Allen

and I used to teach a girl called Nadia, so at sports day her dad used to shout 'Go Nads!'

I kid you not.

mynameis · 17/11/2010 15:16

This thread has had me laughing and wincing, these poor kids! The worst one I have heard recently is Ladydivine. Why?!!

florencerusty · 17/11/2010 15:18

I know a Beckham ..................

MelinaM · 17/11/2010 15:51

^Oh dear!!!

SummerRain · 17/11/2010 15:57

Someone i know called her son AJ.... She couldn't think of a J name she liked and wanted him to be nicknamed AJ so she ended up registering him as just AJ Hmm Poor kid is going to spend his life have this conversation:

'Hi, I'm AJ'
'What's that short for?'
Nothing, it's just AJ'
'Really? Hmm'

sharbie · 17/11/2010 16:30

ludo fogle Grin

what were they thinking

kiwidreamer · 17/11/2010 16:37

I know a little girl called Storm, that's going to fit nicely in her teen years!! Cruz is relatively popular in NZ (cringe) but nothing to do with the Beckham lot if that makes it any better????
