Honest thoughts? I don’t think I like this.

I wanted to do Sophie’s dream as I’ve done 2 Sophie’s universe’s before. I decided to get my own yarn as I didn’t like all the greens in the colour pack. Now I’ve finished I really don’t think I like it! None of the colours go together.
Ah well, never mind! I’ll maybe stick it in a drawer somewhere and see if it grows on me.

As PPs have said, it's the yellow square that's really causing the disharmony, because it's demanding all the attention. Sadly, the yellow joining hasn't worked either, for the same reason.

Do you have any yarn left that you could make a replacement square with? If not, I'd suggest you try rearranging the squares to put the yellow in one corner, with the other 2 squares from that ball creating an 'L', then arranging the remaining squares in a colourway graduation to the opposite corner. Join with a yarn that suits the tones in the middle. You want the joins to appear in the background rather than the foreground.

You could do a mock-up with photo editing software to try it out. Crop each individual square from your photo and rearrange them to see if you can find a layout you like.

I know this sounds like a lot of work but if it means the blanket is used, rather than stuffed in a drawer it'll be worth it.
