they are lovely PP.
is the baby hand prints a stamp?

Dingle · 13/05/2005 16:33

I love those cook's charms. Are they from Lakeland? And those natural papers, are they the ones from Baker Ross too?

Great cards Pootle!

kkgirl · 13/05/2005 16:35

PP

They are gorgeous, I love the fish one, and the papers are great.
Well done

norash40 · 13/05/2005 16:59

what yahoo web site?

Sorry if silly question.

Dingle · 13/05/2005 17:01

WE have a mumsnet card gallery, that AQ has set up. There are quite a few of us now, we can load our new creations, sell a few cards, swap ideas...etc. I'll bump it for you.

pootlepod · 13/05/2005 17:46

Thank you, the baby hands is a stamp (one of my favs, might just have to get a foot!)

The cooks charms are from lakeland (as is the idea for the card) and the papers are part of that pack that had the wood effect (they do leaves, stones allsorts)

I was feeling brave - so I have too !
Opinions please - oh Court of Mumsnetters !

kkgirl · 14/05/2005 08:29

Whizz

They are all very good. I like the new house one. Did you use foil for that one?

Dingle · 14/05/2005 08:36

I really need some opions on a couple of cards I made last night, they are for a competition today on another forum I have fairly recently joined!

They are so different from what I have done before, and although I am quite please with them, I am rather unsure! I suppose I lack confidence in trying new things, and stick to what I am used to instead!

Dingle · 14/05/2005 08:37

...or even opinions!

AuntyQuated · 14/05/2005 08:51

g'd morning dingle..ahve you put the card on the site?
will go and look

Munchkinola · 14/05/2005 08:53

Are they the ones in the all new folder?

If so they are all great. My fav is the last one "Once I caught a fish alive"
I love the 3D rod.

If it's not these point me in the right directions

Dingle · 14/05/2005 08:54

don't think I should yet, as competition is anon, and is today. Could I email you?

Will load them tmr when com is over. The quality of some of the other cardmakers is very professional and I feel way out of my depth, but I am only entering for the fun and challenge of it IYSWIM.

AuntyQuated · 14/05/2005 08:54

no, last card added on thursday

btw...i got the mag and all those lovely papers...and they are double sided! brilliant!
i also got another scrap mag that had some lovely papers too. need to tidy the table before i can play with them tho'

AuntyQuated · 14/05/2005 08:55

yes, eamil it it to me
i ought to be ironing but heigh ho

Dingle · 14/05/2005 09:06

Thanks munchkinola, That is one of the stamps I borrowed from a friend in return for cutting some sizzix bitty bodies!

It looked a bit bare IYSWIM< and I had some little fishy beads that worked really well together! Quite fun, I'll have to make some more of those before giving her the stamp back!

AuntyQuated · 14/05/2005 09:08

i have got the one that says comp2, did you send comp1 too?
have replied

Dingle · 14/05/2005 09:14

Yes, it's only a small group of us entering so we could send in 1 or 2 entries!

I made up 1 first, but think I like 2 best!

AuntyQuated · 14/05/2005 09:17

have emailed you saying i prefer 2 before i saw this.
do let us know how you get on.
good luck

pootlepod · 14/05/2005 09:21

Whizz they're great.

I like your edged cards, did you do that yourself or can you buy them like that? Might practise with my bargain scissors but will probably make a hash of it.

I like the bouquet card, a good way of using flower embellishments.

OP posts:
Whizzz · 14/05/2005 11:19

kkgirl - yes it was foil. I've done a slightly bigger version of it now & mounted the foil bit on a piece of bronze card. I'm still practising with the foil !! Watch this space !

Pootlepod - the cards were bought with a wavy edge.

Thanks for your comments - I have just been asked to make 2 more !

Dingle · 14/05/2005 11:21

Well done Whizzz! Great news.

Carolinett · 14/05/2005 16:30
