Just wanted to say that I think all the cards on the yahoo page look really fantastic....dh hubby said what a talented bunch we are between us all.

Lets hope that we all get some orders now.

bearess, try signing in as the other ID if that is the same then wait a while and then try again; it just means that both IDs are in use.
will try and set up a third.

AuntyQuated · 14/04/2005 18:33

here is another ID to use

ID cardsept
password swapcards

hopefully 3 of you should now be able to look at once.

but can i just ask you to sign out once you have finished looking so that someone else can then use the ID

thanks

AQ and Jayzmummy - Yes it was. I didn't add my nickname as I figured that I'd need to give my real name in order to do the payment bit, but I didn't want to give my nick name as well. Not that you'd pass it on or anything, I know.

Yorkiegirl - I think the Mum concerned uses MN (as I've recommended it in the past) so I'll just say that it has never been mentioned so either a)it got lost in the post b)thanks were given to dh on the phone and he forgot to mention it to me or c) they just forgot to mention it to us after receiving it. I thought it was a really lovely card and the joy of giving is only slightly lessened by not hearing a "thank you" afterwards.

Jayzmummy - Sorry, I explained it badly in my post. What I meant was that normally I have non personalised cards that live in several labelled boxes in my cupboard. When a birthday is a week away, I have a dig around and find a suitable one from the box. Normally, if I can't find the card I'd already bought with that person in mind, it doesn't matter as I have other cards that'll do and it'll do for someone else when it does, finally, turn up. If, however, I organise myself to list the b/days due in, say, the next 6 months and buy personalised ones that have "Amy - Happy 9th Birthday" on, I'll have to put that card in the birthday book as Amy will only be 9 once. I think the personalised ones show thought and care has been taken and I'm going to get the list done, cards bought and birthday book ready.

I'm like tiptop. I have a card box and I buy cards that I like and then give them as appropriate. I do like the personalised cards idea though. I also like what Roisin suggested. I'm sure that you will tweak the system until it works. What I need now is time to sit and look at them all properly (when the DTs are asleep and DH isn't itching to use Ebay)

roisin · 14/04/2005 19:30

Tiptop - this is what you need a birthday card book to help you get organised!

tiptop · 14/04/2005 19:34

roisin - Yes, that's what I have - somewhere. It was a pressie from mil. My problem is that I can't get used to using a system unless I've set it up myself. A psychological blip!

I forgot to say, though, that I'm turning over a new leaf! I've placed an order for some cards and I will find and use the birthday card thingy.

Hi all, newbie here. Just wanted to thank Roisin for putting up the birthday card organiser link - I've just ordered one! I have a dreadful memory so it will be brilliant . Also means I shall have to place some orders shortly to fill it up. Had a look at the cards and they are really good!

Dingle · 14/04/2005 22:05

Jm, how do you do that please. I have loaded a few more on today. So if you wouldn't mind, tell this techno idiot how to do it and I can get my pics sorted.

Thanks JM! Started having a go myself and couldn't find the "full screen" anywhere, I wondered if you'd done some of mine! I managed to do a few too, so now I know how to do it, I can do it as I go along.
Thanks ladies!

AuntyQuated · 15/04/2005 08:21

Hi

Just to let you know that I have started to create categories but please don't put anyhting in them yet. The cards are all still there, under 'individuals'

hi5 · 15/04/2005 12:25

Are mine too big - I've never been accused of that before ooer! Have you done anything to photos AQ, or were they on there correctly already? I didn't notice the 'full size' prompt.

AuntyQuated · 15/04/2005 13:08

i ahve got rid of your bis pics Hi5

sharry · 15/04/2005 14:57

Auntiequated
Could you please put up a link that would take a complete novice to look at your cards. They sound imaginative and creative but i can't find them anywhere and might have to resort to ASDA own brand, or even £-stretcher.
I do like my friends to think that I have spent a bomb on them, so could you help?

kkgirl · 15/04/2005 16:19

Sharry

The link is lower down the page on AQ post of 14 April along with the passwords
