At home on a Friday morning, kids in school, knitting, eating homemade cake in a Cath Kidston kitchen, blogging? You must must must be MNetters and I demand to know who you are!

(But then there'd be less cake for me!)

warthog · 23/01/2009 17:18

on contrary bumper - seems to me that everything lovely is anywhere but london

rosmerta · 23/01/2009 17:57

I would love this

Warthog, agree with you about London. Perhaps we should start our own!

warthog · 23/01/2009 19:40

rosmerta, i'm seriously thinking about that.

Littlefish · 23/01/2009 19:48

Bumpers - I'm in that part of the world. I knit too! Are you in a county starting with G? Any chance of another clue?

I have been to a fab knitting group which meets on a Wednesday night in a beautiful house in a village starting with G in Worcestershire.

Bumperslucious · 24/01/2009 09:24

It is Littlefish, erm, 200 years ago you might have come to take the waters

Littlefish · 24/01/2009 12:38

So, it is Ch????? I used to live there.

ontheup · 24/01/2009 19:30

yep - bullseye...

thanks for the link Bumper - didnt realise you're not going to be able to keep coming - maybe you can change your days in a bit?? We could always start a virtual group...

Bumperslucious · 24/01/2009 21:17

I'm going to go on a waiting list for a Thursday. Friday is the only day all the nurseries have free.

But, because I work flexi time every now an again I can take the morning off and come along.

I bought that crochet book from the shop today and another one, easy knits for children I think it's called. Very excited, though I haven't yet knitted from a pattern so I am getting a bit ahead of myself.

A virtual group would be good, but not the same as the Cath Kidston kitchen and yummy cakes

Btw, ontheup, I can't find any details for the nursery you told me about. Could you email me the phone number? My email is bumperlicious . mn @ hotmail . co .uk.

ontheup · 26/01/2009 11:17

hope you got the link bumper...

rosmerta · 26/01/2009 17:28

Warthog, whereabouts roughly are you? Perhaps we could start our own

Bumperslucious · 26/01/2009 19:54

I did thanks v much, I got the name wrong so no wonder I couldn't find it!

You guys should start your own! Just make sure you have good cake!

warthog · 27/01/2009 11:33

rosmerta, i'm in sw london. where are you?

rosmerta · 27/01/2009 13:28

W London, so we could either be just down the road or miles away!

warthog · 27/01/2009 19:20

north of the river or south?

ontheup · 27/01/2009 20:52

somebody should stake out the local Cath Kidston shop as a venue for a knitting club...

rosmerta · 28/01/2009 09:08

I'm on the north side but close to Richmond, Twickenham etc

warthog · 28/01/2009 13:56

hmmm it would probably take me about 45 mins to drive to you...

ontheup · 28/01/2009 20:32

go on, you know you want to....

rosmerta · 29/01/2009 08:10

That's probably a bit too far really isn't it?

warthog · 30/01/2009 19:23

yes i think so. i have little kids so don't get much evening time. if 1.5 hours of that is driving, then i'm not going to get much done!

rosmerta · 02/02/2009 07:56

Same as me! Oh well, it would've been nice

lunavix · 08/02/2009 10:44

Awww man!
