hi you lot, i have completely forgotten about the knitting & stitching show at ally pally this weekend, i should really be there today, but have no energy to get myself on the train, plus if i was going to go, i should be nearly in london by now!, ho hum!, have seen a few copies of sew hip floating around in blogland, mine not arrived yet though

Hi everyone, not been around much, had quite a few ups and downs recently...mum had to have another operation, school seem to be pulling more and more support away from DD again...it's never ending.

We were away in Devon last week and I am back and raring to go...fighting hat in one hand and crafting hat in the other.

I have had a card printed in Craft Stamper this month came home to some news about another Design Team yesterday.

tilly, i think everyone has flown the nest unfortunately, after all the recent mn meltdown, it's just not the same here anymore. some can be found at ravelry, or the new craft forum, crafteroo, or miaou's place.

it's a blardy shame about mn going nasty - i normally check this thread once a day{or two}
but it seems we've all fragmented with some off to ravelry and crafter...oo and even "The other craft forum"{shivers at the memories}

i for one spend far too much time moochin' about in cyberspace when i should be crafting or looking after ds {bad mammy}. . . . . .

oh and i miss icod

i don't visit the other craft forum anymore. one thing that always bugged me about it was (well, apart from the obvious!), their 'reputation' system, you know when people have a rep score, it was like you were being marked on every post, and yet some (not all) who had a high score, spouted nowt but rubbish, was more like a popularity contest imo

I'm still here although still no time for crafting at the mo.
There does seem to be a lot of vile and personal attacking going on on MN in general at the mo, which is a terrible shame. It's a lot more friendlier 'elsewhere' (& am spending a lot of time messing on Facebook these days too )

saw this on etsy and thought it would be a fab project for quilty/fabric o' philes.. I thought it was cute anyway.. brill as a kids scarf idea...

cant get in to the Miaou forum.. and my laptop is a bit poorly too.. I joined the NabloPoMo thing so have commited myself to a blog post every day eekkk... here are the first two anyway
