Hiya everybody!

Part 6? Part 6? Have I really been away that long?

I've just been catching up on some of the blogs & there's lots of beautiful stuff. I got totally taken over by the Pratchgan but now that it's over (it still hasn't quite sunk in that I got to meet the man himself!) I have time to do other bits & pieces again too.

I'm still doing lots of swapping on ravelry (surprise surprise) & have been having fun dyeing & spinning my own wool on the wheel I bought a few months ago - I still haven't blogged her but she's so pretty that I'm gonna have to soon.

Some new-ish stuff on the blog - the wool roving was dyed using KoolAid & after seeing what it does to wool I have no intention of ever drinking it! I've spun some of it up so I'll be blogging that soon.

Main news is that I'm almost published - I have 3 fingerless glove patterns in a book due out on October 1st called Off The Cuff & am so excited

Dior thank you, am waiting by the post box as we speak and there is something else I'm coveting on your folksy but, I am paying for a new bath and tiles for the bathroom at the moment, so am limiting the amount I spend on moi. I am so bored with looking at baths, it's mind numbing, I just want a bath I can lie in (our current one has a straight down back and is hideous).

real life sucks.. DH being a twat.. DS being "HellBoy" the skip people not collecting there skip though I have run 3 times... gerrrr.. oh and now the kitchen fitters have arrive an hour late.. at least they are here... have done a bit of embroidery over the weekend.. a robot for the very late robot swap... I'll upload pics later...and link it.. promise..

lucky for my my dp has gone to work - he's been feeling rubbish all weekend and well just grrrr and ds has been acting crazy but funny and very tiring!
