Rex's head is finished. My friend's very pleased with him so far, and so am I!

The back of his head's slightly gappy but I think I notice it more because I'm making him maybe 🤔

I'm almost done for today - I've not stopped again!

I can't get the hang of knitting. I can do it but the yarn ends up twisting and I'm too lazy to practise

Hello and welcome @BlueCookieMonster! It's not every newcomer who arrives with biscuits- have a gold star! I crochet but am mostly a knitter and still find it easier than crochet (but probably just because it's what I learned first - I'm sure crochet is objectively easier!).

What kind of stuff do you crochet? I made a couple of biggish blankets during lockdowns. One of them was a pattern we did as a CAL on these threads.

@sophs29 the job's going well thankyou! The teacher's been talking to someone & told them he's impressed with me too, this person's told my lunchtime supervisor but she won't tell me who it is 🤷‍♀️🤣 still, good feedback is good feedback!

I just need to get my head around things like "handwriting policy".

Today's offering is Princess Pearl to go with Zog. I'm going to ask for more of the peg people for next time too. I quite like peg Zog.

You can shake biscuit crumbs out, nothing to worry about.

I like making blankets, I’ve made hats, shawls, slowly working through a scarf. I’ve got three blankets on the go currently.

Might attempt some sort of baby clothing at some point.

I'm feeling chuffed- I wore my 'Coffee Shop Wrap' shawly thing (pic) today for the first time (I made it ages ago but I always love wraps on other people and them am not sure about them on me!) and got loads of compliments from colleagues.

I've been invigilating exams today in rooms varying from freezing to boiling, so a removable wrap was perfect!

Thanks! The photo is actually not of mine, as I couldn't find my photo, but it looks exactly the same as I used the same yarn in the same colours. I'm liking it so much that I might fancy either making another one in different colours or making a similar wrap.
