I'd heard of them because dd talks an awful lot about (mostly) music and Minecraft 🙄 but not really listened to anything of theirs until tonight. I was quite surprised at how old some of the K-Pop group member's ages when she was telling me. They look about 20 when they're almost 30 (I felt oooold!)

I asked music mad DS2 what older music he recommended. He said Bon Jovi (his favourite) or Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons.
He also said to check out InAir.

That's just reminded me of Air (Sexy Boy?) and Space as well so I'll play her those too.

I'm nearly 2 months done on my temperature blanket... only used 4 colours so far 🙈 cold months! I've added a strand of silver yarn for special days like birthdays.

I did have a few false starts because the YO instruction didnt make sense because i knit english and they are european knitters. But one i found an english knit video on line for brioche/english rib, i got on fine with it.

Can I join? Currently making a pocket shawl in dk so is slightly thinner but am happy with it as a scarf more than a shawl.

Its Hayfield illusion in green so it's black with a nice green ombre.

I've just whiled away ten mins making a little heart for the bear, think he can have a second in pale pink too (the photo makes it look shocking pink - it's more a rose pink irl must be the flash!)

@InTheNightWeWillWish - your CAL is looking fab! It's amazing how different they all look compared with mine,not so much because of the multiple colours, but because I'm doing each whole stitch section in a solid colour! I'm well behind - still on the Stacked Waves .

I just realised I'm sitting here crocheting a blanket, with the other blanket I made over my knees, wearing my previous project (Lettlopivest Fairisle yoke sleeveless jumper) and socks I knitted. Makes me happy .

I'm also sitting in front of the fire with dh and the dog, half watching the rugby with a pint of bitter, which also makes me happy . Dc are playing Minecraft, I think. Or possibly just 'vibing', which is what dd calls chilling out not doing much. We went for a lovely but very chilly walk earlier, but not a long one because ddog has a sore claw (they are too long, but he won't let us clip them because he's a massive wuss!).

However the blanket on my lap is a fleece one,(its a sensory anxiety thing for me)

DC are playing Minecraft. Its very annoying, although nice to hear them interacting rather than ignoring each other.

Ds is obsessed with fleece blankets, @CrochetBug - he recently bought himself an Oodie and he can hardly be persuaded to take it off!

The saving grace of lockdown for us has been the way dd and ds have interacted (over Minecraft among other things). I'm assuming the majority of 15yo sisters and 12yo brothers probably don't get on that well. Dd is not a typical teenage girl at all in her interests etc, so they have more in common than we could have anticipated! It must be tough atm when your only non-adult company is your sibling and you don't get on with them!

Finally made up my cushion cover for my friend and started my moorland blanket 😊
