no pattern for elephant sorry...

rantinghousewife · 04/09/2007 10:24

Pruners, I've got an old pattern for dolls clothes (70's), that don't look that old fashioned. Basic hat, coat and dress, I can mail you a photo copy if you like.

Free knitting pattern for ITV monkey just click on the link.

Anothet free pattern for arm/legwarmers

Wrist warmers could be good for boys & girls - you could do easy motifs on them.

Or what about the little hats on the innocent smoothie site?

Best thing would be to get loads of cheap dk like Sirdar Bonus - our wool shop sells it for £1.19 per 100g ball.

Happy knitting.

Emzy5 · 04/09/2007 10:29

finger puppets are always good for stockings. maybe on a theme for a whole hand? like goldilocks and three bears? or the three lil pigs?

purplemonkeydishwasher · 04/09/2007 19:11

my MIL knitted the ITV monkey for me. she's an expert knitter and she HATED making it. said it was hellish.

NAILPOLISH - I make crocheted beanies. let me know what size/colour/style and i'll make you some for your dds.

princessmel · 04/09/2007 19:13

I agree about the bags. dd is 2 and loves bags.

Or what about knitting allsorts & joining them together in pairs with Icord to make bag/mobile phone charms?

You could have a go at wrapped sweets, biscuits or healthy stuff like strawberries too

Nbg · 06/09/2007 09:59

I like PandaG's idea about the little bags. You could fill them with chocolate coins too.

Washersaurus · 06/09/2007 10:12

Mouse mittens?

Caroline1852 · 06/09/2007 10:12

Little finger puppets?

Washersaurus · 06/09/2007 10:23

Awwww look at these little rainbow babies

dyzzidi · 06/09/2007 10:25

Could you do some tiny Iggle Piggles from the In the Night Garden program. YOu can't but the shop bought ones anywhere at the minute and have been deemed to be this years Christmas must have. I know i would probably snap up 4 or five at the minute. It would just be blue wool with red blanket.

Just thinking of something that would sell quickly for you.

Washersaurus · 06/09/2007 10:42

Oh look a clever MNer has created an Iggle Piggle knit here

I think it is based on the rainbow babies pattern!
