Here's my first FO:

Scarf in super soft (but super shreddy!) Debbie bliss Roma, for my lovley SIL. Hope she likes it, and can live with the shredding! Planning to do another scarf with this yarn in Teal, as already had the yarn, no recipient as yet. Making a wrap, and may make a little something for DD time permitting.

What's on your needles/hook?

Oh no - don't give me any more ideas!! I'm loving all these Smile

albus that blanket looks gorgeous. Do you have a link to the pattern please?

Swannykazoo · 15/11/2015 21:49

Well its not exactly a gift but mil got me a red sweater last year. It's not exactly me, but its occurred to me a few silver snowflakes crocheted andsewed on would make a "tasteful" Christmas jumper. What's the betting I do lots of snowflakes but never see them on

Callmegeoff · 16/11/2015 12:03

I'm attempting the Cristmas wreath from attic 24

attic24.typepad.com/weblog/2012/12/christmas-wreath-ta-dah.html

I'm new to crochet but its become very addictive!

bruffin · 16/11/2015 12:18

I am knitting a gryfindor quidditch jumper for dd 18. Trying to knit it in secret is proving to be a real pain. She has decided not to hide herself in her room like normal teenagers Grin so have to knit when she is out or on way to work 3 days.
I have changed from dk to superchunky to make sure i can get it finished in time. Also have ambitions to make a slouch hat to match.

TheFurryMenace · 16/11/2015 12:57

Ooh, I'd love to do the attic Christmas wreath, good luck with that Geoff.

Good luck with the snowflakes puggle.

Stealth knitting is difficult bruffin, I had same last year knitting a scarf and hat for DD (I was up till silly oclock xmas eve finishing it off!).

I haven't quite finished , need to sew all the things on and make a few more bits but I'm really pleased! I wasn't able to make a robin, mine looks more like a pudding so I'm not going to bother.

Love everyone else's projectsSmile

I'm crocheting a shark blanket, and knitting a mermaid one, they are like sleeping bags but not as long, so they can snuggle up in them. I've just got to do the fin for the shark, and add sequins to the mermaid.

Lovely photos everyone Star

Swannykazoo · 19/11/2015 09:57

I'd love to see your shark blanket/sleeping bag! Do you have a link to the pattern?
Have decided to sew a mini-manduca for my wee boy to carry his beloved hippo about in so I'll have to put down the crochet for a wee while....

redshoeblueshoe · 19/11/2015 10:05

I just went on Ravelry. When its finished I'll try and put up a photo

Swannykazoo · 19/11/2015 12:45

They are amazing! Is it hard? (I hate not being able to look at the pattern first to see if it'll be easy enough for me)

I'm not actually knitting any of these things but need to do a hat for DSis who askes for one every year as she likes having something no one else does, socks for friends husband who asks every year and I always forget. Fingerless mitts/wrist warmers for friends colleague. Made some for friend last year and colleague likes them so much she's asked for some too.

What I'm actually making is another hitchhiker scarl (for me) some socks (for me) a citron shawl (err for me) and I've started to crochet two southbay shawls, because I can't decide which yarn it's better in Blush

Another scarf in debbie bliss Roma. Going to give this one to SIL as the pink one was waaaay too shreddy, can only be worn with a leather jacket.

Total, I think we have very similar tastes in knitting, all your projects are in my que! And like you, most end up for me!

I've just ordered some Rowan worsted to make a Skyland shawl for me for Christmas!

I'm making socks for me and a blanket for my cats. Blush
I'm hoping to make bedspreads/blankets for both kids. (Need simple pattern and vvvvvv little joining if any!)
Hoping to try some gloves soon. I fear I may get into a pickle!
There is a knitting group that has just started up locally so I would like to try and go along.
(Most of that list is for me isn't it! Blush)

Wolfiefan · 27/11/2015 21:25

Oh and I'm still on the lookout for a simple shawl pattern. Shock

toriap2 · 27/11/2015 21:28

Promised I would make DD the whole FNAF cast! Why? Four characters and I have only done one.

toriap2 · 27/11/2015 21:35

wolfiefan. I made this one that looks harder than it is if that helps. Its on ravelry
