So who fancies a bit of FUN then???

I contacted MNHQ to ask permission to organise another A&C Fun Night and they have given us the go ahead.

So who's up for it??
Dates that would be best for all would be good.

This time for a change I thought we could do something a bit different and as AQ and I have just returned from Bonzo that we could share with you a couple of fab classes we took part in.

You would only need the basic crafting tools...scissors, craft knife, cardstock and patterned papers to make some really wonderful bits and pieces. Both are very easy to make and would be suitable for crafters of all levels.

Im more than happy to make up class instruction details and list the materials needed beforehand to help you prepare for the evening in advance...throw in a quiz as before and of course a game of Bingo.

Prizes would need to be donated as they were last year....small bag of bits from your own personal stash...with one prize being for the winner of BINGO and the other for the Quiz.

If you are up for it then add your name to the thread....lets get some fun back into A&C's.:)

oh, this looks great when finished...you will all love it!

pootlepod · 23/06/2006 11:53

though I am feeling a little bit scared now

JayzMummy · 23/06/2006 13:06

pootle dont be scared...its a fab class. Both AQ and I did it and it really is so very easy.
Ive got piccies and we will go one step at a time.
Just shout stop at any point and we will be able to go over what you need to do.

We will be starting at 8pm with the quiz. I'll email it out to everyone at 8pm. AQ has set the questions for you .

The class will start at 8.30pm.

Its not a card or scrapbooking....a bit of both and can be adapted to suit so many different occassions.

The class should take 1 hour.

Bingo at 9.45pm.

Finish at 10pm.

Bingo words will be emailed later on this afternoon.

You will also need Double Sided tape, a bradle or sharp pointy thing for making holes.

No brads, eyelets or specialty cutting bits needed....just a pair of scissors is fine.

Thanks to all who have sent goodies...its a yummy prize for the quiz winner and the bingo prize is all the stuff donated by those who have sent.

Sod the paperwork - I want to come and play!!!!

pootlepod · 23/06/2006 14:08

Come on Dingle, you know you want to. It sounds as if you need a bit of 'me time'.

I am just preparing.

Can I just check the size of the tags- 13cm x 6cm, do they need to be paper/card? With a hole punched?

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 23/06/2006 14:17

My tags will vary somewhat JM, as don't have the sissix abioity to cut. But I am sure ai can adapt- bit of an expert at that LOL!

Hope you got my package of stuff today.

UCM · 23/06/2006 15:20

is mount board ok????

auntyquated · 23/06/2006 15:56

mount boird should be fine UCM

peachy as long as you cut ytour tags in pairs you will be fine i.e. each tag needs a tag identical in size

pootle...light weight card is best but either will do. and yes..they needa hole punched thro'

JM is busy busy busy working on pics

SoupDragon · 23/06/2006 15:58

You don't need any clog paper??? Pah!

JayzMummy · 23/06/2006 16:16

Thanks AQ.

The tags do need to be in pairs and be as identical as they can be.

Peachy try cutting rectangle tags and round the corners for a nicer effect

Whizzz · 23/06/2006 16:47

Blimey - thats quite a list - horrified to find I haven't any double sided tape - ran out yesterday. My tags look awful.
Timing isn;t great for me as thats when me & DH normally sit down for out friday night treat tea when DS is in bed! (the miracle when we are both in the same room for more than 20 mins!) But hey ho!

kiwibella · 23/06/2006 16:52

where will the class be posted?? I would like to have a go, if that's ok. I won't be staying up for the bingo - we have a massive weekend so need an early night .

JayzMummy · 23/06/2006 17:05

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 23/06/2006 18:30

Have done my best and cut up some seriously strokable paper, as my stash had dwindled only to that I was erm, stroking, iyswim. (sorry no clogs in mys tash!), everythng has slightly wavy line as I am shocking at cutting them straight- teacher used to keep me in at lunch to practise but still cannot do it.

Limited amount of ribbon- hope will be enough.

Dingle · 23/06/2006 18:36

JM- I'll see what I can do if I am not too late to join. If I do manage to join in anything I will of course post a contribution of goodies to you tomorrow morn.

Feeling really crap and not up to facing the reams of papers, but not really feeling that creative either- might give me a kick up the backside that I need!

Dh and DS don't get back from karate till gone 8pm so it very much depends on how nicely my little madam goes down!!!

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 23/06/2006 19:14

Dingle- last thing I want is for you to feel bullied into joining in, but you do need to take a break from it all sometimes. Or it justs gets you really down.

You'll need to e-mail JM for a list of bingo words which have to be back before (I think) 8

rhapsodyangel · 23/06/2006 19:23

hello...? just registered on this site after seeing BOB's post on LCC... hm who am i? that would be telling - though i'm sure BOB could work it out... not sure if i will be able to join in much tonight but will see...

Rhi · 23/06/2006 19:36

Dingle · 23/06/2006 19:39
