Hi me and a friend did our card stall at the school the other night.It was great fun to do and we had a glass of wine and didn't stop talking to people all night.I sold 15 cards at 1.50 each and all my packs of tags at £1 a pack.Not bad for 2 hours.I would definately do it again.We had loads of lovely compliments.Her cards were very different to mine very funky and modern with gorgeous embellishments on.Her alphabet beaded ones went down a storm.makes mental note on that for next timeNever done any of those before.She sold about 10 more cards than me but hey who's bitter?She was so apologetic it made me laugh bless her.I was just so pleased people liked mine enough to buy them.Can't wait to do another one now.Whizz you're next.Bet you really enjoy it.

Ive made sizzix tags and have put them in packs of 10 for 1.50...they have rik rak on them and buttons...dont expect to sell many at all though because I wouldnt pay £1.50 for something thats gonna end up being pulled off and chucked away!!!
Gift tags are weird things to price because they take just as much time to make as a card topper and yet I cant justify charging more.

I think both ideas sound reasonable - 10p each or JM's 10 for £1.50. A bundle of 5 for 50p might be the way to go? Then if people want more, they buy two or more packs.

I'll go with the 5 for 50p. I've made up 10 bags so we'll see how they go!

Well I went to hep set everything up for tomorrows Xmas Fayre & already sold one card (well have to make it tonight) - a man / golf birthday card - argh !
I hope its a sign of a sell out day tomorrow.

DS has just said that my conservatory looks like a 'Jungle Sale'

I sold loads !
I should have made more of my £3 basic neacklaces as I sold out!
Gift tags went OK - sold 5 bags of the 50p tags
Also sold 5 pairs of earrings, actually the jewellery seemed more popular than the cards!

Time for a glass of wine I think

Just about to open one Carolinett

Did the local school tonight. Was put in classroom with 2 other card stalls. One was Phoenix, the other, layered all in one style. Oh my god, I was really embarrassed.

Well when the people drifted into the end of the bloody school they looked, went out because all of the card stalls were in one place.

I did ok. I made 39.00 after the stall price. But the Jewellry stallholders were ready to kill each other. They were all given biggggg tables in the front hall (which is what you see when you walk in).

I will be writing a very vociferous (sp) letter to the person who allocated the tables as I think that they should not have been sat next to each other.

Yes sounds like bad planning UCM - but at least you sold some cards.

Off to do a craft fair now....its raining really heavily and Ive got a stinking cold....I wanna stay in bed and drink lemsip and cough and splutter to my hearts content.
Dont expect it to be a raving sucess due to the weather.Its late night shopping so I am gonna be there till 9pm tonight...all I wanna do is crawl in to my bed....blooming christmas!!!!
