Figgyrolls · 14/01/2011 21:35

Ooh, help me with my curtains, have the material and everything and has been sitting staring at me for nearly a year Blush

LemonDifficult · 14/01/2011 21:36

Like it!

111 projects in a year - wow

morsbagmum · 14/01/2011 21:37

thank you, will keep an eye on it also.

overmydeadbody · 14/01/2011 21:38

Thanks!

Figgy curtains aren't too bad once you get started, the hardest part is getting the motivation to start working on a project as ibg as curtains, you can't just put it all away quickly when you've had enough Grin

If you need pracical advice I'm more than happy to help though.

omdb, that is why they are still in the bag, especially as I was considering making a pelmet too. I must be bonkers but dd doesn't seem to mind her rubbish blind atm.

Actually a blind is exactly what I need tips on making, curtains I need the motivation for Grin

PerArduaAdNauseum · 14/01/2011 23:10

Why on earth did you stop making soap? It's fun...

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 14/01/2011 23:18

I am sooo jealous of you finding the old sewing basket with all the vintage threads and buttons. All I found in the charity shop today were dubious ornaments and clothes not in my size.

I will be following your blog - this year is hopefully going to be a crafty year for me - I am knitting regularly, and am hoping to work my way through some of the other craft projects that I've shopped for but not actually done.

KurriKurri · 14/01/2011 23:58

lovely blog OMDB - what beautiful items you have made. I am also Envy of your charity shop finds (I might have given a little squeak of excitement at the button photoGrin)

overmydeadbody · 15/01/2011 10:00

Figgyrolls I made my DS a terrible roman blind, it was really easy to make, but I didn't realise there is a formula for working out the distance between each fold, so it doesn't actually pull up very neatly.

It was very easy to make though, and looks good once I've neatended the folds Grin

PerArdua I ran out of Caustic soda Grin

Staying and Kurri I don't often find such amazing finds at charity shops, believe me.

Good luck with your crafting projects Staying, I have so many ideas and future projects planned out, I know I will never have the motivation to get on with completing them all...
