@maddy68 have you read accounts by women inmates about being locked up with male-bodied inmates? Even if this man (he’s a man who did a man’s crime no matter how he identifies) were in a separate wing from the mother and baby unit, men have no place in women’s prisons. They dominate, they threaten, and they rape.

There are some pretty shocking stats about the prevalence of male sex offenders claiming “trans” status. It’s clear to me that a number of violent women-hating men take advantage of de facto self-id to seek out vulnerable women.

And pandering to these men has brought down NicolaSturgeon’s career.

I'm glad all this absurd shit is finally getting to the forefront of the news.

Too many people had swallowed the entire TWAW nonsense and insisted that 'we' need to be kind and let transwomen be women if they so choose. Why is it always women who are asked to be 'kind' - i.e. roll over and let our rights be eroded.

Many people I know, shockingly, weren't even aware of the whole travesty, at least not until Isla Whatshisname hit the news.

I hope we are at a watershed and sanity will ultimately prevail.

Yes, when I lived in Canada, I had the opportunity in my professional role to be in minimum, medium, and maximum security prisons. I was very eye opening and very interesting.

In Canada, there is no crime of rape nor a 'man's crime. Men and women can sexually assault others and that is the criminal charges used there. Rape is used colloquially as a term in Canada to refer to sexual assault - by both males and females with victims being male or female.
