It means I don't feel the need to go out into the horrid, sweaty heat 'to make the most of it' and end up spending money which is so non existent it may as well be imaginary.

Ds has gone out on the bus with dp whilst dd is mooching and flicking between spongebob and horrible histories.

I'm mooching on me bed having smugly completed a shedload of cleaning whilst my joiner fits me a new door.

We also have grey skies. It has rained all week. We also have a hosepipe ban

It's grey and murky here to but I'm not surprised as that's the first week of the school holidays over..... only another 7 weeks of rain to look forward to

I wish we had some rain. Yet another day of 34+ temperatures in Switzerland. I heard a news report about people dying (so did my dd who checked me continuously during the night). I really hope we get a thunder storm soon.

We've had shite weather ever since the schools broke up. I'm expecting it to brighten up when they go back.

They announced a hose pipe ban here earlier in the week and it's been raining ever since. Typical.

It's bloody hideous here. About 31 degrees atm. I'm sick of it. Can't go out for fear of frazzling.

31 in Brussels as well - yeuch - about 24 with a breeze is my limit.

Over 30 degrees here. I have loads of washing, ironing and housework to do and it's not getting done. Plus the stupid effing workmen we have in have painted our effing windows shut. Bastards.

OMG I can see blue sky. Just a tiny bit between the big black rain clouds.

Apocalypse I am so jealous. Our garden thermometer is reading 32.5 and 62% humidity, no breeze. We are in South London and it is literally like an oven. The only relief was to go to the Lido with DD this morning and wallow in the cool water then home for nap.

Of course there is now a massive queue so there's no point trying to go back...

What I would do for a cool sea breeze...

Ha ha, Alice, DD and DH have just done the same. Had the car running for about 10 mins to get the air con flowing...

When will this vile weather stop? It seems to have been going on for weeks in London, and this is not a pleasant place to be in hot weather. The tube and busses are just punishing at the moment.

The weather is crap here but in a different way, it's hot, too damn hot, with blistering sun light and clear blue skies, I hate it.

at least in winter you can put more on, I'm sitting here sweating like a pig in a t-shirt and panties with the windows open, the blinds shut and the fan on and it's still 31.5 in here.
