Not sure if any of you have seen this blogpost here?

Commenting on Justine at the cybermummy event and also more generally about how Mumsnet it as a collective. As a young (ish) parent I like the fact MN don't feel the need to have a special section for younger mothers, I don't think there are many parenting dilemmas that are age specific!

Oooh fuck Blush Right you are, Annie.

Do you know, I re-read both cliques and quiche THREE times to ensure I was right?

Right I'm off to NMs. BYE. THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME.

I love quorn- and it's not soya!- I don't eat soya so tofu is out for me. But lentils are yum.

Whilst I'm pregnant meat is goooood though.

That's all I have to say on here.

AbsOfCroissant · 24/08/2010 15:32

"quiche" is generally used instead of clique on MN for some reason. I have no idea why

Carob's miserable stuff. It always gets stuck on the roof of my mouth. Totally pointless.

oh dear, justine, i hope your response placated them. i can see why people might have taken offence, they were at a cybermummy conference thing after all, blerk, so clearly have no issue with mummy names and by extension huns etc.

still and all, seems like a big fuss about nothing, it's fair enough for one blogger on the internet to prefer one site over another. i prefer most sites to hers, for example. even netmums. Wink and ALWAYS a pleasure to see dulwichmum's name pop up. Grin

You see quiche instead of clique on MN quite a bit due to a thread about 4yrs ago where a poster didn't know the difference or rather kept posting quiche instead of clique.

Though now I'm typed that I'm starting to remember she was putting click instead of clique so I'm talking bollocks! Grin
