.....(have name changed)...I just sent a text to my OH along the lines of "and I love you and your great big XXXX and I can't wait to see you tomorrow and sit on it with my really XXX XXXXX and etc etc" - you get the general gist -

To realise to my horror I have sent it to my Dad who I have also been texting all day as my mum is in hosp having a routine op.

[shock

Babywrangler- that made me snort tea up my nose!

muriel76 · 02/07/2010 09:33

Oh.

I got a text of utter FILTH from my teenage babysitter late one night.

She texted the next morning and said sorry and that her phone had been stolen at a party but having read this thread I am thinking she is in fact a little minx! I felt really sorry for her at the time....

OP poor you, but it could be worse - you could have sent him a cheeky picture text to remind him what he was missing!! Now how mortifiying would that be

laurielou · 02/07/2010 09:40

Hahahahaha.

Sorry, but hahahahaha.

I'm not having a great day so thank you for raising a (HUGE) smile.

AccioPinotGrigio · 02/07/2010 09:44

Trying to look at if from every angle, perhaps your dad will be pleased that you have a healthy sex life and are clearly enjoying yourself. Nowt to be ashamed of.

Numberfour · 02/07/2010 09:56

"any plans for the weekend?"

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

That is SO funny!!!!!

But, what colditz and friends says!

minkulus · 02/07/2010 09:56

OP your pa is a star.....

IHeartKittensAndWine · 02/07/2010 10:12

My sister once called me late at night when I was staying with our parents to ask me to get hold of mum's mobile and delete a text she'd sent to her girlfriend as it was a bit explicit and she hadn't told them about her yet. Duly snuk into their room and did, then sent a text to DH telling him... only to discover next morning I'd sent it to mum instead .

BabyValentine · 02/07/2010 10:14

I think I'd text a few more quite, ahem, hardcore messages, along with some grammatical mistakes and textspeak and then in a day or two, say that my phone'd gone missing.

BabyValentine · 02/07/2010 10:15

Oh, heck. That doesn't work does it, because you were texting your Dad at the same time. Oh, well. Emigration?

MadameCheese · 02/07/2010 10:15

Aaaw your Dad is ace! It'll soon be forgotten. Hope your mum makes a speedy recovery

Floopy21 · 02/07/2010 10:19

Freudian?

Rockbird · 02/07/2010 10:20

I don't know what else to add but pmsl and

I'm afraid it would be a pile of clothes on the beach and footprints into the sea for me. Would you like us to help you put together your new identity?

TidyBush · 02/07/2010 10:27

I'm having a sneaky MN session at work so have had to snurk silently at this .

No advice really but thanks for the laugh.

The only story I know that is anywhere near this is someone who used to work for me who had a massive crush on a colleague. In her wisdom she decided to make a move by texting him a very graphic description of what she would like him to do to her, dropping in his name at various points throughout the text. Unfortunatly, she sent it to her DH

fifitot · 02/07/2010 10:28

My DH's phone got nicked and apparently a load of filth was sent to my mum as her first name begins with an A so was first on contacts list.

He didn't know this for months. It wasn't until I casually mentioned he'd had to get a new phone that she admitted she'd received all these texts. It was the idea she hadn't mentioned them before that got me! Did she think he had actually sent them.

LMAO at this though - poor you OP.

ProfessorLaytonIsMyLoveSlave · 02/07/2010 10:31

"Any plans for the weekend?"

DeFluffy · 02/07/2010 10:32

Its got to be Shiney, its always Shiney, I think shes got fat fingers

Seriously, Id have to kill myself.

When my parents visited me one week years ago my dad went into my bedroom to get something. I suddenly remembered in horror the 'rabbit' on the bed. When I legged it upstairs he'd carefully arranged the covers over the top of it! It was never mentioned

Psammead · 02/07/2010 10:33

I am dying a thousand deaths for you here, OP!

DeFluffy · 02/07/2010 10:33

Fifitot she must think your dh is 'that type '

Ariesgirl · 02/07/2010 10:35

Oh my God . YA so NBU.

I'd want to die too!

But it is bloody funny...

PlasticCenturion · 02/07/2010 10:38

I would cut all contact with my family. It would be easier than knowing they know.

It happened to a friend at uni except it was a text from her Dad about how he wanted to lick her, well I won't go on actually. Sadly, the text wasn't meant for her Mum either. Was a very, very horrid thing indeed.

nickelbabe · 02/07/2010 10:52

OP.

even worse with your dad's "any plans for the weekend?"

"er, yes, lots of plans, dad, namely your precious daughter shagging her DH in lots of rude positions. no dad, honest our DCs were found under the gooseberry bush, no, dad, i don't even nkow what sex is, honest..."

LMFAO

mummylin2495 · 02/07/2010 10:57

when my son in law first learnt to text my dd put in my number to show him .After about 30 mins of sending his very first text he asked her if she had recieved it yet.The penny dropped he had sent it to me! it read " do you fancy giving me a BJ " he was horrified and stomped off to bed whilst my daughter and i had a massive fit of the giggles. My sister who prints a yearly mag of all the funny things that happen in our family made this the cover story so in the end the whole family knew ! Oh and i did reply to it saying i was far too busy
