To not be able to stand Zoe in Junior Apprentice?

Feel a bit bad as she is just a kid, but then again seems like just yesterday that I was that age and I wouldn't have warranted any sympathy if I acted like that !

She has this really annoying Gordon Brown-esque mouth thing that she does, plus her incessant interrupting of the others - so rude!

pigletmania · 03/06/2010 16:18

YANBU I cannot stand her, she has a lot to learn and needs taking down a peg or two.

megonthemoon · 03/06/2010 16:18

But isn't she the best teenager you have ever seen on tv? Overly confident, thinks she knows best, wonderful eye rolling and face pulling when she disagrees with someone. Absolutely brilliant!

I'd like Arjun as a son and winner - he is both lovely and super-smart - but she is by far the most entertaining!

ApocalypseCheese · 03/06/2010 16:18

yanbu, she's vile.

And needs to bin the lipslap

giraffesCANdriveAcar · 03/06/2010 16:20

Which ones she? The short haired blonde one with an over use of lippy problem?

ApocalypseCheese · 03/06/2010 16:23

She's tall, short blonde hair, too much lippy and........... utterly vile

SunFunMum · 03/06/2010 16:24

Yes giraffes - that's her.

I love Arjun too - hope he wins - he is the best by far.

Had to laugh at Tim last night:

"She's not an artist - she's a criminal!!"

OP posts:
MrsGangly · 03/06/2010 16:24

Not just me then! Excellent!

Arjun to win!

ApocalypseCheese · 03/06/2010 16:26

On the subject of Tim, can somebody please tell me if he's of legal ogle age ??

megonthemoon · 03/06/2010 16:32

On the subject of Tim, ogling aside (that's so very wrong ApocalypseCheese!), since when did it become acceptable for teenage/20-something boys to straighten their hair? They're always at it on The Apprentice (Phil the estate agent was last time). DH and I are only early 30s, but we're clearly officially old as it seems alien to us that a bloke could know what straighteners are, let alone use them with confidence!

cyteen · 03/06/2010 16:39

There is a lot to admire about Zoe - fearsome self-confidence, gift of the gab, umm, courageous fashion sense - but the way all her sneery superiority is expressed via her lips does my head in.

I've no doubt she will prosper in life. Arjun to win!

And ApocalypseCheese, you need help Tim is skin-quiveringly awful.

Tee2072 · 03/06/2010 16:39

I have no feeling for Zoe because all I can do is stare at her lips...

And Tim is 17......

addictedisalmosthalfway · 03/06/2010 16:44

urgh i was really hoping the other team would loose so she would go home! she drives me crazy, i just want to slap her every time i see her, she is just so rude and annoying and...yea

on the subject of last nights apprentice and tims wonderful comment of "She's not an artist - she's a criminal!!" she was just a criminal wasnt she? or was it just me and dh who thought that?!

megonthemoon · 03/06/2010 16:58

DH and I spent ages trying to work out if she was a criminal. We figured that if she told the people that she was housesitting for what she was doing then it was probably ok as she was only duping the photographer, and probably not duping him/her so much as omitting that it wasn't her house. But if she hadn't told the home owners that this is what she would be doing then not only might it be criminal but it was very very very creepy...

Sassybeast · 03/06/2010 17:03

Well if she is a criminal I reckon her cover is well and truly blown

Zoe is not pleasant to watch

singsinthebath · 03/06/2010 17:12

She is there for us to dislike and make good telly - a bit like the dancing leprochaun (sp?) on BGT.

Like megonthemoon says, she does some amazing teenager faces.
And did you see her sans lippy at the end of the last prog. Her face looked a lot blander there.

Sure she won't win tho. I want the little Scottish girl to win. Or Arjun.

SunFunMum · 03/06/2010 17:19

Oh no - I'm not a fan of Kirsty either (little Scottish one). She seems a nice girl but I think she was way out of her comfort zone last night - I think she is maybe not as confident as she makes out and it comes across as her being abrupt.

Was a bit gutted she didn't go as ultimately I think it was her that lost them the task.

Wonder what Hannah's invention is?

OP posts:
pointydog · 03/06/2010 17:23

Kirsty needs to practise talking to people.

whoneedssleepanyway · 03/06/2010 17:40

it is v amusing.

YANBU i can't stand her either but you have to hand it to her she is a very good saleswoman and only 16.

babywalks · 03/06/2010 17:42

she is very annoying and comes across quite up herself....she'll probably win though

ahundredtimes · 03/06/2010 17:51

Stoppit

imagine reading this thread about yourself at sixteen

stop, it's unkind. Just because she thought it was a good idea to go on The Apprentice, it doesn't follow that she's fair game for grown-ups to be unkind about her on an internet talk board

she knows not what she does - she's 16

singsinthebath · 03/06/2010 18:02

ahundredtimes you're right. sorry Zoe (if you ever read this) - you're much more sassy that I was at sixteen

ahundredtimes · 03/06/2010 18:04
rookiemater · 03/06/2010 18:04

Glad I'm not the only one with a little crush on Tim, what's even worse is he straightens his hair...

Cogitoergosum · 03/06/2010 18:05

There's no way that Tim is 17. I think he's about 35. Remember the tale of the bloke that managed to get himself enrolled in an american school when he was in his late 20s?

Tee2072 · 03/06/2010 18:12

Personally, I am a little disgusted by how nice Lord Sugar is being when he fires people.

And ahundredtimes if she didn't want to be talked about, she shouldn't have gone on The Apprentice.
