AIBU to think that women with tattoos are as diverse as there are types of body art?

scurryfunge · 31/05/2010 23:14

You is sooooo unreasonable....everyone on MN thinks they are crap.

I have 2 - one is partially ultra violet ink that glows in discos ( that I am far too old to attend)

PersonalClown · 31/05/2010 23:14

You must be Kaloki, well compared to me anyway!

UnquietDad · 31/05/2010 23:15

Yuz soooo fookn right pet

iamfabregasted · 31/05/2010 23:17

Ok so, if you have a tattoo, what is it, where and what does it mean to you?

Mine is a Scorpio M in red for love, behind a stylized black scorpion, because I used to race scorpion dinghies, and scorpions survive for years in barren environments, they have loads of offspring, should never be underestimated and don't tread on them because they pack a powerful punch.

And it's on my left butt cheek, tiny, hidden by all underwear (except thongs which I am far too old for anyway)

BusyMissIzzy · 31/05/2010 23:17

scurry anyone who calls them "discos" is definitely too old . Can you really get UV tattoo ink?

victoriascrumptious · 31/05/2010 23:20

I have a grumpy looking crow on my shoulder because erm...I like crows...and loads of them live on my roof and it was the only thing I could draw

victoriascrumptious · 31/05/2010 23:21

I was thinking of getting this though:-
this

victoriascrumptious · 31/05/2010 23:26

And this is nice:

this

BusyMissIzzy · 31/05/2010 23:26

That's going to give me nightmares victoria!

scurryfunge · 31/05/2010 23:29

BMI,

Yes I know I'm way too old,I meant nightclub, or something!

My tattoo has some UV ink that appears pink but will glow under a UV light....you can get them so that you can't see them in daylight at all.

Kaloki · 31/05/2010 23:29

lol @ victoriascrumptious!

I've got 4. A pentacle on my back (I'm pagan), a cat silhouette on my chest (my name is Kat), cat paw prints round one wrist (see previous) and a symbol on my other wrist which is two mismatched halves of a face together, to symbolise the idea of love.

My next one will be two mallow flowers intertwined (I will be Mrs Mallow come September)

OP posts:
scurryfunge · 31/05/2010 23:32

oooh, like the idea of cat paw prints around the wrist or ankle maybe

Kaloki · 31/05/2010 23:34

I love my pawprints, when I worked in retail I'd realise customers weren't paying attention when I handed over their goods, they were too busy staring at my pawprints. One woman randomly started stroking them before she realised where she was again and stopped! Was strange

They did hurt when I got them doe though as they are right on the bone!
