I have just watched DIY sos and a perfectly pleasant woman had the most awful tattoos. Why on earth to people do this to themselves.

I do think there is the ocassional taateful tattoo but it is the odd one. Andy while it might look great on a fit 22 year old body a tattoo of any kind will NEVER look great in your 50s.

I wasn't aware that I had moved to the other side of the country. To the others, never once have I used obscene language on here. However, I expect any woman who has tattoos has a mouth like a sewer. Yes / no?

By the way Gichin you don't need to use foul language to be behaving in an unkind, judgey pants, rude fashion on mumsnet.

You're also generalising by expecting anyone with a tattoo to have a mouth like a sewer. That's a huge sweeping generalisation and not true in this day and age. It's really not.

Oh dear. I think the fact you have spent all evening trawling through my posting history is extremely sad. Yes I do have lots of friends who I can telephone, email etc. No, I have very few friends who I can physically meet, nor do you judging by your latest response. Please stop embarrassing yourself any further.

Gichin, could you please explain to me why a tattoo makes a woman foul-mouthed. a proper explanation, preferably with scientific back up or at least a reasonable argument.

I have tattoos and a foul mouth but I am really fucking kind and friggin nice as shit to everyone. The people in my new neighbourhood have warmed to me and my sewer-gob and I am fucken confident they will, if asked, all say I am one top-drawer motherfucking cunt.

And at DS' nursery, the only mother there who has so far revealed herself to be a nasty person is tattoo-free, mousy-haired, middle-aged, cardigan wearing, church-going and quietly spoken. I'll take the rock 'n roll crowd over stuck up judgemental fun-police like Gichin any day.

Oh Gichin, come on,give it up now.....you can make plenty of friends on MN if you want.....just relax a little and go with the flow....less confrontational and you'll find the site ok.
