Was in boots today just mooching around and came across this wonderful new (?) product that gave your hair an added lift. Just some extension/wig type thing.
What got me laughing was the name...

Bumpits

I think ive been hanging round with my 3 and a half year old too much and his sense of humour is rubbing off on me...

haha - that would have made me giggle as well

ShatnersBassoon · 27/05/2010 15:59

I saw these somewhere too, probably Boots.

My son calls his groin his bum pits, so it made me snigger too.

M32song · 27/05/2010 16:12

how did that product name get through a marketing meeting..?

sheesh.

M32song · 27/05/2010 16:22

AmazingBouncingFerret · 27/05/2010 16:46

Just choked on my chocolate digestive at "check in the back"

MrsKitty · 27/05/2010 16:55

YANBU

happycopter · 27/05/2010 16:57

YANBU - I was at lunch with a girlfriend and she pointed at one of the waitresses and said, "OMG, she has one of those Bumpits" - I heard "bum-pits" and nearly sprayed my lunch across the table.

Bad, BAD name!!!!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 27/05/2010 17:00

DetectivePotato · 27/05/2010 19:21

YANBU, I would have laughed too. I have a juvenile sense of humour anyway.

RunawayWife · 27/05/2010 19:24

DS has a teacher called Ms cutbush

BuzzingNoise · 27/05/2010 19:29

why would you want to pretend that you have an oddly shaped head?

whoingodsnameami · 27/05/2010 19:31

I want a bumpit.

They look good.

whoingodsnameami · 27/05/2010 19:32

buzzingnoise, I have an oddly shaped head already, perhaps these will make me look normal.

DetectivePotato · 27/05/2010 19:32

A teacher called Cutbush!!! Oh dear. She must get some stick, I would change my name!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 27/05/2010 19:36

Ohhh its not an extension/wig type thing! Very bizarre. Would it not feel all weird perched ontop of your head like that? Or is this just one of those things you must suffer for fashion??

shockers · 27/05/2010 19:38

DS2's teacher last year was Mr Condon, I had to concentrate really hard when asking for him.... lovely bloke though .

AmazingBouncingFerret · 27/05/2010 19:42

We had a Mr Dore, a Mr Rugg, and a Mr Bath. We all thought "We walked through the Dore, tripped over the Rugg and fell into the Bath" most amusing at the time.

OP posts:
JackBauer · 27/05/2010 19:45

They all look like twats!

happycopter · 27/05/2010 22:53

Ridiculous look. Plus, if anyone says anything about your hair, you have to say "thanks, it's all due to my Bumpit!!" without laughing.

I'm so not buying one.

happycopter · 27/05/2010 23:37

Hmmm, I appear to have bumped off the thread
