to think that if a Mumsnetter is planning to leave this site she should bloody well be allowed to say goodbye without being jeered at and booed off the stage?

So, am I?

RunawayWife · 27/05/2010 19:05

If hully goes I go........

Hullygully · 27/05/2010 19:10

I won't go really. I am hardcore addicted. I am waiting for the 12 steps of MN.

RunawayWife · 27/05/2010 19:16

Step one admit you have a problem

Step two say sorry to your children for all the burnt dinners they received as a result of you mumsnetting while cooking

Step three apologise to everyone you have disagreed with

Step four use your familys names in real life, do not say to the milkman DH would like an extra bottle please

bibbitybobbityhat · 27/05/2010 19:37

Y'see, I like it here

am so pissed off about all and sundry saying its shite

is it time to hide aibu?

I quite like aibu but not if everyone takes it so frigging seriously all the time

Why can't everyone on Mumsnet have the same attitude towards it as meeeeeeee?

a-ha

bibbity...you are going nowhere

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 27/05/2010 20:05

believe AF - she is good at making people stay. ..I know this.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 27/05/2010 20:17

When I left I didn't say a word, but then felt bad because people were worried about me. But the real flouncy "you are a bunch of bitches" threads are a pain in the arse. To quote another MNer "this is the Bear Grylls of parenting sites" so what the fuck did they expect?

Now I am back very occasionally, but no internet access at work has killed my MNing (and upped my productivity no end)

AnyFucker · 27/05/2010 20:24

is it my magnetic personality fanjo ?

or the fact I am a needy stalker who doesn't handle change very well ??

< puts bibs in headlock >

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 27/05/2010 20:25

It's the big padlock you have on the door!

AnyFucker · 27/05/2010 20:28
Grin
ShowOfHands · 27/05/2010 20:31

Why do only the good ones threaten to go? The AIBU squatters with their big sticks and rusty pitchforks never bloody flounce.

If hully and bibbity go, I'm going. And I'm taking bof and lg&t with me.

I'm actually going to petition MNHQ to allow us to boot people off BigCrappyBrother stylee. That'll shake it up a bit.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 27/05/2010 20:32

It's no good hiding things because there is then an overwhelming desire to un-hide them, much in the same ay as hiding the children's left over Easter eggs in a tall cupboard induces you to leave a ladder in the kitchen

bibbitybobbityhat · 27/05/2010 20:33

We were worried about you Norm.

AF - and another thing that annoys me is people complaining to mnhq about your name. Who TF do they think they are?

(Having said that, I feel the place is just not the same without morningpaper).

OP posts:
Jamieandhismagictorch · 27/05/2010 20:36

no one would miss me judging by the fact that my last 3 posts have been studiously ignored

BuzzingNoise · 27/05/2010 20:37

Who said that?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 27/05/2010 20:37

4

bibbitybobbityhat · 27/05/2010 20:39

We were all nodding along tho Jamie. Nuff said.

OP posts:
Jamieandhismagictorch · 27/05/2010 20:41

thankyou

Jamieandhismagictorch · 27/05/2010 20:41

you know I can't actually see you though, don't you?

Am boring myself now. Laters ladies

NormaStanleyFletcher · 27/05/2010 20:45

What has happened to morning paper? Why do you miss her?

hairymelons · 27/05/2010 20:48

And what is 4?

You can't leave because people are slagging MN off, you have to stay and defend it!

scottishmummy · 27/05/2010 20:57

yabu.all that im offsky, think of me stuff is dire,if someone wants to go - just go.all the oh oh im really offsky this time is usually fishing for compliments and seeking an arse licking

as in oh dont go
we lurve you

want to go

just go

piprabbit · 27/05/2010 21:03

Please can we have the 80s party anyway? And then Bibbity can stay and we'll all tell her what a grand party it was.

I've got some Diamond White hiding at the back of the cupboard just looking for a party to join.

bibbitybobbityhat · 27/05/2010 21:23

Oh thank goodness, all is right with the world, SM is here.

Norman - afaik mp got a serious proper grown up job (altho that doesn't seem to stop all of you career high fliers from posting SM) and I miss her because I found her to be very funny.

I am mainly looking for laffs, banter, idle musings and occasional bits of helpful info on Mumsnet. She was good at all that stuff.

scottishmummy · 27/05/2010 21:30

look stay or go.up to you.threatening to go is akin to trawling for compliments and ego stroking
