Or not?

never thought of that......Hides in cupboard under stairs

backtotalkaboutthis · 26/05/2010 17:20

bullied? you're in aibu, people are going to react strongly

more people on your side than not tbh

I've got a great joke about people with dying relatives who fear granny will be attacked by necrophiliacs in the funeral home -- because they think people who want to work around dead bodies must be weird

of course that's not true at all -- but that's what makes it so funny!

are you beginning to understand even a tiny bit hully?

can't believe how affronted you are...thought you were made of sterner stuff

RunawayWife · 26/05/2010 17:23

I would love to be an undertaker.

muddleduck · 26/05/2010 17:24

are you all still at this

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 26/05/2010 17:25

My friend had a boyfriend when we were at college who did the cosmetic work for an undertaker. The stories he told....

backtotalkaboutthis · 26/05/2010 17:25

god

you start a thread being mean about people and you end up crying bully

for pete's sake

pagwatch · 26/05/2010 17:26

actually Back. I don't understand that as a comparison as a joke or as a scenario tbh.

But that may well be me

Hullygully · 26/05/2010 17:29

backto - are you beginning to understand even a tiny bit hully?

Er, no. But I'm happy to remain in the dark. (If that's not darkist)

I don't think we have quite the same sense of humour - 'I am being bullied' was a wee bit of irony and satire.

OP posts:
Hullygully · 26/05/2010 17:39

Backto - are you dp? Somethng strangely reminiscent about your style.

OP posts:
backtotalkaboutthis · 26/05/2010 17:39

yy i thought it might be after i posted and jolly glad to hear it

But you should understand. You think you're breaking all sorts of taboos but you are very conformist. You don't think lines are there to be crossed, you don't think anything at all is up for a joke and you're liable to suffer a sense of humour loss when your own boundaries are breached.

It means you are only sensitive to what offends you and rather look down on people who are offended by different things. So it is quite wry when you get all huffy about it.

Hullygully · 26/05/2010 17:44

backto - I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. But I absolutely agree with you. Are you Edwina Curry if not DP?

OP posts:
backtotalkaboutthis · 26/05/2010 17:46

yes you do

you were all huffy because people didn't find yr joke funny

"oh ffs.. i'm off " and all that

then your mates turned up

Booboobedoo · 26/05/2010 17:47

lol @ pagwatch's bush-flogging.

pagwatch · 26/05/2010 17:47

Eh?

Are we just psycho anylysing Hully now.
Does nothing about the fact that some of us, post abuse, don't think this should be taboo matter?

Or do other people get to decide this for me?

No, I got fed up because people missed the point and I got bored with explaining it over and over. Hence the dead horse analogy.

II don't do "huffy." You are experiencing transference. You have issues that I cannot help you with and that saddens me.

OP posts:
Booboobedoo · 26/05/2010 17:49

Apparently they do, pagwatch.

As a victim of abuse you are probably too confused to make a clear judgment, and need others to do that for you.

pagwatch · 26/05/2010 17:49

Ah yes

Cross posted.

Hullygully · 26/05/2010 17:49

Backto was unloved as a child and ignored in the playground. It's all expressing itself now. We need to surround her with a circle of love and chant.

pagwatch · 26/05/2010 17:50

I am confused. Its true.

I need other people to decide for me.
I will sit here quietly. With my nice bush

backtotalkaboutthis · 26/05/2010 17:51

ohh ffs i'm off is right huffy

i think a lot of people understood it but they didn't like it

i think you are hoping people didn't understand it because that would make them a bit thick and so you can ignore them

but i'm sure most (apart from britfish) did understand and just didn't like it

pagwatch · 26/05/2010 17:51

I am going to need a bigger bush

Hullygully · 26/05/2010 17:51

What a large bush Paggy has! So roomy and concealing. We need Moses to set it aflame.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 26/05/2010 17:52

Backto, are you reading a different thread? I am most confuzzled at the turn this thread has taken
