Its dull, ridiculous waste of time and money, brings out the worst in people (though these England Tops Banned rumours are hilarious), we always make idiots of ourselves when supporting abroad... And generally I am sick of seeing prissy men who whine and throw themselves on the floor when they find a split end plastered everywhere and being hailed as hero's when all they do is kick a ball around a field.

By thubwitch -MrsR is fond of pushing the '-ist' buttons, I seem to remember. Classist is just another one.

I think you'll agree there is a very flimsy connection between what you accuse me of and your evidence for it.
If you found the thread sexist then I guess you posted it then and there.

Good God, you got an apology after someone made a mistake (and it takes a lot more to acknowledge a wrong than just to quietly disappear off).

Some others found your posts a bit forthright, and at 00:43 - seems like you cannot or will not let go - just U-turned from acknowledging an apology to suggesting it wasn't meant at all.

Shame you could not just leave the thread without digging in for a fresh, full battalion, assault...

Okay, I have contributed to thus thread a couple of times, and have been following it's progress. For what it's worth, IMO yes maybe thumbwitch did make a mistake and she apologised for it. But MrsR, I have to agree that just posting 'it's a class issue' was a bit irritating, and that you were trying to push peoples buttons. I also got rather annoyed that it seemed that you were particularly trying to wind up Sirboobalot. So really, maybe it would be a good idea to call it quits with Thumbwitch This is a debate thread, I know, but this does seem to have become devolved into an fight and you are getting nasty.
