I am assuming it was pulled but why? Did the poster turn out to be a troll?

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 21/05/2010 20:37

she did have a very odd posting style
like a jolly-hockey-sticks newspaper columnist

mathanxiety · 21/05/2010 20:41

There were a lot of very pushable buttons in her OP...

mathanxiety · 21/05/2010 20:44

Although if she pulled it herself, maybe she was real and just too wrapped up in herself to realise people might disagree with her on MN.

crumpet · 21/05/2010 20:46

I liked the M&S degree distinction ("not just a normal degree, a law degree")

You did SGB, I'll remember it, even if MN doesn't. It was a beautiful thing.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 21/05/2010 20:55

I mean SGM, SGB a very different person!

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 21/05/2010 20:56

crumpet, don't forget that it was from a non-ex-polly-uni too!

HarderToKidnap · 21/05/2010 20:58

I liked Baby Amy. I suspect Baby Amy will be called Baby Amy forever. And whenever Baby Amy is written, capital letters will be utilised. Maybe she will marry Baby David when she grows up.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 21/05/2010 21:01

I have a secret wish that baby Amy will turn out to be Baby David.

The same way my Ds2 was "definitely" a girl. Just lucky I "knew" they were wrong

my DS got a certificate for being the 'most enthusiastic' at holiday camp, does that count?

wukter · 21/05/2010 21:44

Ah, all those lovely shiney pushable buttons:

  • SAHM v WOHM
  • NCT classes and the people you meet there
  • Class: middle and subsections of
  • Know-it-all mother-to-be v actual mothers who may know a thing or two.
  • Being a sensitive little flower in OP who is as sensitive as a ten ton lorry when it comes to others' feelings.
  • loadsa other stuff as well that I can't remember
ginhag · 21/05/2010 21:45

See I sort of thought (hindsight n all that) that actually no-one, ever actually asks for advice 'mum to mum'.

But maybe I'm just sheltered or something.

I actually got stupidly upset by the OP. Was extremely good at pushing some of my buttons. And tbh it didn't make me laugh at all....

Then headbanger came along

DollyPants · 21/05/2010 21:45

I'm on the wrong thread aren't I?

bubbles4 · 21/05/2010 21:46

man to man,I have heard of but never mum to mum and according to her she isnt a mum yet.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 21/05/2010 21:50

Dolly, join us on the swimming cert one, you'd fit right in

Look bubbles, female to female, I'd like to discuss how we both own iguanas even though I don't own an iguana yet...

It makes perfect sense to me...

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 21/05/2010 21:51

headbanger is a beautiful beautiful woman.

ginhag · 21/05/2010 21:51

No you're not dolly. it's just that my ds has no certificates for anything yet and I'm ashamed... he's 2

I've got a first aid certificate from st john's ambulance...

ginhag · 21/05/2010 21:53

crunchy she's my 'homie' and a truly loyal friend.

And really quite feisty.

DollyPants · 21/05/2010 21:57

I might stay here YKNOTC I'm getting confused, it's been a long day and DS2 headbutted me in the nose earlier (by mistake).

I thought LA was simply lovely, a real joy to have around, I'll bet the other NCT ladies think so too I wonder if she has her birthing ball ready to go?

I'm going to send her my GF book to help drive her insane when baby Amy is born

DollyPants · 21/05/2010 21:59

ginhag DS1 is not sporty or competitive at all which I quite like, but he is VERY enthusiastic at everything he does which is great exhausting so I chuckled when he got a certificate for it!

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 21/05/2010 22:01

DP, you cruel woman!

gin, can I make her my homie too?

ginhag · 21/05/2010 22:03

dolly my ds currently has a hobby of running round the living room trying to get 'sweaty like daddy' (dp runs to and from work )

does that count as sporty?

I would be proud too. To be honest ds only has to fart and giggle and I am a little bit proud [possibly needs to grow up emoticon]

ginhag · 21/05/2010 22:13

crunchy I will tell her,she will be delighted
