I am afraid to say some of my "friends have joined this" www.facebook.com/home.php#!/group.php?gid=122816717742919.

Please report it.

I can't find anywhere where this banning of the England flag and wearing of England tops has been reported in the media. I think it is just another hyped up facebook group designed for BNP supporters to express their ignorance.

Oh well. He's left the group now, must have seen the true error of his ways!

Heading for 300,000 members this morning.

I hope the police are going to come out with some sort of official statement soon re. there being no ban - there's nothing in the news yet.

There are a number of people posting to protest against the group and to dispel rumours.

I posted but it's a waste of time as the wall moves too fast and your comments only last about 30 seconds.

Bedfordshire Police have said this on their FB page:
Bedfordshire Police For all of you concerned about the wearing of England football shirts (or other nationality shirts) during the World Cup: On the spot fines are only given to those committing offences of public order etc, sometimes they are alcohol related but certainly not dress related! If people behave themselves while wearing an England shirt they have nothing to fear.

Thought people might be interested to know that the facebook page has been hacked and the title changed. There's a whole group of admins now who are doing their best to deal with the racists on there and if you read the bit on the left under 'information' and read down using the first letter of each word they have made it spell 'F**kwits'

It's all quite amusing now. Although they do have shitloads of members which is awful.

I've reported it - does everyone know about this anti-racism group?
