Adults and kids blowing horns on the train should have respect for fellow train users despite their team winning the world cup today

I was coming back from London on the train today and at Wembley some Chelsea fans came on with their kids blowing loud horn type things. It was so annoying that I felt like taking them and stamping on them. I pay good money to travel on the train and do not want to hear these devices all the way through the journey. The adults should know better and appreciate that there are other people on the train too.

Were they also drunk? if not, consider yourself lucky.

pigletmania · 15/05/2010 20:32

i get your point BUT the FA cup final and its ensuing nonsense its only ONE day a year!

fwiw i wanted portsmouth to win purely as they are the underdog, so i would have scowled at the chelsea supporters, but they hhave just won the double i think they are entitled to a bit of exuberance

pigletmania · 15/05/2010 20:34

It does not help as I do not like footie and do not see what the fuss is about.

GypsyMoth · 15/05/2010 20:34

happy?? yes, happy kids are such a problem arent they?!!

4madboys · 15/05/2010 20:34

and yes at least they werent drug.

i had the misfuortune on travelling on the tube with a baby on the last evening that it was legal to drink on the tube, THAT was a nightmare, esp as it coincided with some huge rugby match!

Chandra · 15/05/2010 20:35

And no, you are not unreasonable.

pigletmania · 15/05/2010 20:35

They were so loud in such a confined crowded and hot train

OP posts:
pigletmania · 15/05/2010 20:36

Yes they are IloveTiffany when they are blowing very loud horns, not party blowers but loud horns

OP posts:
pigletmania · 15/05/2010 20:37

pigletmania · 15/05/2010 20:38

scottishmummy · 15/05/2010 20:51

your footy knowledge is somewhat lacking.wasn't world cup.some wee kick aboot in london.real action was at hampden.and something tells me ingerland wont be blowing any horns bout world cup either when they get cuffed

Oblomov · 15/05/2010 20:52

why a joke ? mind you , am laffing at piglet. not laffing at chelsea winning though. chelsea winning both league and FA IS painful.

pigletmania · 15/05/2010 20:52

No it is not pickledmonkey, my nice day out in the year was ruined by adults and kids blowing loud horns on the train. but can see the funny side though.

Meh they're enjoying a victory, unfortunately chelsea.
Don't know why the hate for lampard though medis, in a team that contains michael ballack and john terry.
