Adults and kids blowing horns on the train should have respect for fellow train users despite their team winning the world cup today

I was coming back from London on the train today and at Wembley some Chelsea fans came on with their kids blowing loud horn type things. It was so annoying that I felt like taking them and stamping on them. I pay good money to travel on the train and do not want to hear these devices all the way through the journey. The adults should know better and appreciate that there are other people on the train too.

OP - stop being such a miserable killjoy!
I was in Munich when the German team was playing there and won - the atmosphere was amazing - singing & chanting spontanously on the trains.

You were lucky it wasn't Sunderland. I once went to Charlton and we forced encouraged the travelling public to join in the singing and we had a sing off (one side of the carriage against the other) - to be fair the lovely people of SE London joined in! If they weren't swearing I think you have to let it go. I wish Portsmouth had won though.

PS I don't travel around Twickenham on rugby days and if I was bothered by noise I probably wouldn't travel through wembley on cup final day - it does happen every year. You may want to stay indoors between 10th June and 11th July. I am not being rude and I am sure I you didn't realise but if it was "my nice day out in the year" I probably would have checked.
Sorry you had a hard time but I don't think they were being disrespectful.

Yes, nighbynight, who wouldn't want horns being blown loudly for an entire journey. Some people actually don't care about football......

I dont care about football either - just be glad that someones got something to celebrate.
