That these kids on junior Apprentice need taking down a peg or 2

Thats it really. I watched junior Apprentice the other night and was about the behaviour of some of these brats junior entreupanurs (sp) sepcially Zoe Plummer who does not do deals with ugly people (well have you looked in the mirror lately i wonder) and Jordan who had a face like a wet weekend and an attitude to match. They do have a lot to learn I am afraid if they are going to make it.

There is the low down of them all

good on em for trying though!

The very fact that they're on the Apprentice hints that they will be precocious.
But my lord, the one that left this week was slappable. Zoe I think will go far, she is only 16 remember. I was more that she was wearing gloves for hygiene but spent the entire time sweeping her hair off her face.

cupcakesandbunting · 14/05/2010 13:27

Her philosophy: ?You have to look good if you want to make a deal. Ugly people don?t win?

Yes because Surralan has a face that wouldn't look out of place on the runways of Paris and Milan.

Shallow little mare. She'll soon have that knocked out of her in the cut-throat world of bizness...

wahwah · 14/05/2010 13:29

They're just children, be kind! However, Zoe (who is probably going to be very successful in whatever she chooses to do with her scary confidence) does need some feedback about her lack of ability to work in a team.

I thought they were as capable as the adults and most of them were far more rounded and charming!

Tiredmumno1 · 14/05/2010 13:29

I was listening to that going to sleep last night, what a load of tosh, i remember a lot of slagging eachother off, it was boring, maybe thats what made me fall asleep

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 14/05/2010 13:34

Thank God that Jordan went, he was appalling. Actually I won't be watching it again as I did not like any of them. Lord Sugar should be put out to grass now, the Apprentcie, junior or senior has run out of steam just like Big Brother did. Just serves up teh same nasty horrible people every time, who have to become nastier and nastier to make for "interesting" (?) television.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 14/05/2010 13:42

My favourite bit was when the blonde girl said 'he's my favourite chef', when told about the prize they had won.

pmsl.

pigletmania · 14/05/2010 13:43

Zoe has a lot to learn, so what about Sir Allan than, hardly gracing the catwalks of London or Paris is he, or Sir Richard Branson. Certainly has a lot to learn, I will be watching it. Thought that Reese was really sweet, his voice has not even broken yet awwww

Was Reese the boy who sold fishing and camping tackle?

Jordon was hateful.

I quite fancied the northern boy who was in the boardroom showdown, he obviously had A LOT of testosterone for a 17yo. I'm very that I kept looking at those lovely red lush lips, and I felt like a Mrs Robinson

lisad123wantsherquoteinDM · 14/05/2010 13:54

reece has a the other one in the board room and i wante dhim to go, he really wound me up, seems sneckier than the rest imo.
I will be watching but its only 6 weeks so not as long as adult one, which I love!!

olderandwider · 14/05/2010 13:56

I think these programmes obviously atract up-for-it confidant types. BUt, they are all very young so I'm cutting them some slack.

ILTMIMI - I think Reese was the tiny one who argued about the mild-cheddar-cheese-of-the-day decision. He is cute and quite sharp too, I think. One to watch. (No, I am not his mum, btw).

I love the Apprentice, but it won't be the same without Margaret and her quizzical eyebrows.

olderandwider · 14/05/2010 13:58

confident?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 14/05/2010 13:59

Ah yes, Reece was the one who must have been wearing his dad's shirt as the collar size was huge and it stood a couple of inches away from his neck!!

pigletmania · 14/05/2010 14:09

No Reese was the blond boy with very blue eyes, really sweet almost in tears at times bless

he was the one in the boardroom who was up for the chop suggesting whitecross in Covent Garden. I liked him seems really down to earth. Yes Tim is good looking and has so much manly facial hair for a young whipper snapper

MyBoyLovesBeans · 14/05/2010 14:13

If your talking aabout tim the sheep sheerer iliketomoveit then I agree..... very handsome! A landscaper too! I was in heaven!

fascicle · 14/05/2010 15:46

wahwah said: I thought they were as capable as the adults

I thought the same. Some of them had very impressive business skills for 16/17 year olds.

I'm not keen on S'ralan's new name. 'Lord Sugar' really doesn't roll of the tongue in the same way.

bruffin · 14/05/2010 15:58

I thought they were quite harsh with Tim, considering he had a really good idea but was completely unsupported with it, and if he and Rhys hadn't sold the bulk load of cheese at the end, albeit at the wrong price, they would have sold just £40 worth all day.

I really didn't think they were any worse than a lot of the adults that have been on apprentice.

supergreenuk · 14/05/2010 16:01

I was amazed by how much they had achieved at such a young age. They scare me how intelligent they are. I do remember at that age I felt like an adult but my goodness they all look like children.

Good for them and I really liked the fact that Sir Alan made sure that the one that went knew that getting there was a huge achievement.

supergreenuk · 14/05/2010 16:01

BTW. Not all of them were likable but hopefully in time they will learn.

oldandgreynow · 14/05/2010 16:18

The boys were a bit all over the place.
Tim had a really good idea with the snack boxes with the 700% markup!
Zoe is very good at sales ,very confident and quite remarkable for a 16 yr old.I tghink she was right to shut that Habib(?) up.You don't butt in when some one is closing a deal!! Adults have been really slated for doing that!

pigletmania · 14/05/2010 16:58

I do agree they were up there with the adults tbh, even more impressive because they are children. But a few did irk me like Zoe or Jordan who do need their rough edges smoothed if they are to be really sucessful. Some of their comments really childish, like ugly people do not win, by Zoe

OP posts:
CheekyPinkSox · 14/05/2010 17:39

God she was like one of them school kids you'd want to hit, (if you was same age as her) she loved herself.

I hate snotty kids like that.

That Jordon - Was he english, Irish, American - What!!? Glad he went.

Fibilou · 15/05/2010 10:00

I really liked Zoe Plummer. Why shouldn't she be confident, why shouldn't she know who 2* chefs are ?

And IMO her comment about "nobody wants to do a deal with an ugly person" hit the nail on a head that nobody wants to acknowledge.

Fibilou · 15/05/2010 10:03

And I should think she is the Antichrist for the Mail - young, confident, intelligent, sucessful and female [shudder]
