To think that Nick Griffin is misunderstood and actually a nice chap?

I heard him being interviewed this morning on the Today programme.

Firstly, it turns out he's not racist or against immigration! Apparently, he says it's ok for French people to come here (there's not that many that want to so its ok). AND he says that Irish people can come here too because they're really all British! So that's nice. I was a bit confused because I thought they'd spent all those years bombing us because they didn't want to be British but I guess I've got that all wrong.

He's not going to let Algerian asylum seekers come though, but I don't think it matters because they'll just get killed where they are in their own country so that won't be a problem for them much longer.

And the best thing is... he's going to give £50,000 to anyone who's not "pure British" to leave the country and go back to where they came from! How cool is that! So I'm now deciding whether to go back to my Great-Grandmother's origins in Russia, or my Great Grandfather's in Finland. Now, apparently this money is going to come from what he called stupid anti-Climate Change projects so although much of Russia and pretty much all of Finland is a bit chilly, as the climate changes because they money is being spent on me, they'll get warmer and I'll be all toasty!

Brilliant!

No, I am not in favour of hitting 4 yr olds, but out of control children should be removed from mainstream education so teachers can do their job...the way things are atm they are doing two jobs..teaching and social work....it's not fair on teachers.

Ok DP
who will teach the 'out of control' children then? You know there are school which actually have social workers working in them, because the 'out of control' children tend to actually be abused children - but I guess you want these children taken out of school to spend more time at home being abused.

And by the way, what age does corporal punishment start to be ok then? There must be quite a small window if 4 is too young and presumably adults (18) are too old?

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 20:22

Yes but DP the BNP policy involves the reintroduction of corporal punishment.

If you vote for them you are registering your approval of that policy, that if they got into power you'd be keen for that to be implemented.

Ditto some of their other policies that are unsavoury.

However I am not actually trying to persuade you of anything as I know your mind is made up. Just making the point, really.

posieparker · 29/04/2010 20:24

Yes why let parents of children with SN(not fucking 'SN children') decide where to educate their children, just let all children with SN be hidden away in a 'special school'.

If a child cannot be made to behave at four then I would suggest some sort of consult to estab;lish what is wrong with said child.

DP if the BNP got in to power how long before children with SN do not just have to keep out of mainstream school but get sent to "special" places? The sort of places where they get experimented on to see why they are not "normal" the sort of places where it is decided for the greater good they get put out of their misery?

Please don't say it could not happen because it already did, a bloke called Hitler tried it a few years back.

The needs of the child are what matter, and the school that best suits the child is the school that the child should be able to go to

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 20:31

nice one riven

laloue · 29/04/2010 20:36

Yup, I'll take the dough and head back to France...and Wales...and Ireland...only amoebas vote BNP!!!

cornsilk · 29/04/2010 20:39

Riven

RunawayWife · 29/04/2010 20:42

TO BE HONEST I THINK ANYONE WITH AN IQ ABOVE 6 UNDERSTANDS NICK GRIFFIN PERFECTLY

pigletmania · 29/04/2010 20:42

Giveitago yes good point. BNP is rather like the Monster Raving Loony party, not a hope in hell.

Quattrocento · 29/04/2010 20:45

Nick Griffin - leader of the Bloody Nasty People ...

I really don't understand how nazism can have any kind of following in the UK. Makes me feel slightly dirty by association. Horrible.

daftpunk · 29/04/2010 20:46

The way things are atm, everything is loaded in favour of the disruptive children....kids who cause trouble get all the help....while the normal children are forgotten..... and can you honestly tell me teaching has got easier in the last 10/15 years...? I know there have always been disruptive pupils,( my school wasn't brilliant,) but we were all a bit scared of the head teacher...and we had respect for our teachers.

The BNP are on the teachers side.

pigletmania · 29/04/2010 20:46

Posie you are right, My friend has a child with Autism, and goes to a Special school which fits her needs perfectly, the mainstream environment was not right for her needs. Mainstream educatin will be right for some or it might not be for others, there should still be the option of schools for special needs for those children for which mainstream is not right for them.

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 29/04/2010 20:46

£50,000? FIFTY THOUSAND POUNDS????

Right, that's it. I'm voting BNP. Everyone please vote BNP.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I shall start packing.

When would I get my money?

pigletmania · 29/04/2010 20:49

He he he JMTPW might move to Cyprus or Armenia, no Cyprus as is nice hot and sunny with lovely beaches, Armenia has too much of a Borat connotation about it Bye Bye UK where is my £50,000

Lulumaam · 29/04/2010 20:49

am very excited !! i have two differing areas of eastern europe to look at, think we also have some Irish ancestry too..

DH's family do have more middle eastern roots, so £50 k each, we can have our pick of the places to go !

how lovely

what an absolutely twattish policy
the sheer stupidity, unworkability and inaffordability , is simply breathtaking in it's moronicness.

they are just digging their own grave

daftpunk · 29/04/2010 20:49

What are you talking about not a hope in hell?...the BNP are in Europe and running councils.....do you know anything about British politics..?

pigletmania · 29/04/2010 20:52

I do say I do agree with DP on discipline in the classroom and respect for teacher and authority, though not corporal punishment. I used to be a TA at a local comprehensive, as I remember it used to take the teacher nearly all of the lesson to deal with disruptive pupils, leaving them not much time for the rest. But i would not vote BNP wolf in sheeps clothing.

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 20:53

No NOOOOOOOO

don't leave me here with nick griffin!

Hahahahahaha an excellent argument for all "true brits" to vote for anyone except nick g

DP yes yes horrible animalistic children, scummos with no respect, disruptive students blah.

But by supporting the BNP you are agreeing that the best way to tackle these problems is to keep children in a state of constant fear by beating them.

?????

That is not good.

Lulumaam · 29/04/2010 21:01

and that women and unwed mothers in particular, are simply chattels

StrictlyKatty · 29/04/2010 21:06

DH's sister has just moved back to their Fathers homeland of her own free will too, silly girl, missed out on £50000 free!
