To think that Nick Griffin is misunderstood and actually a nice chap?

I heard him being interviewed this morning on the Today programme.

Firstly, it turns out he's not racist or against immigration! Apparently, he says it's ok for French people to come here (there's not that many that want to so its ok). AND he says that Irish people can come here too because they're really all British! So that's nice. I was a bit confused because I thought they'd spent all those years bombing us because they didn't want to be British but I guess I've got that all wrong.

He's not going to let Algerian asylum seekers come though, but I don't think it matters because they'll just get killed where they are in their own country so that won't be a problem for them much longer.

And the best thing is... he's going to give £50,000 to anyone who's not "pure British" to leave the country and go back to where they came from! How cool is that! So I'm now deciding whether to go back to my Great-Grandmother's origins in Russia, or my Great Grandfather's in Finland. Now, apparently this money is going to come from what he called stupid anti-Climate Change projects so although much of Russia and pretty much all of Finland is a bit chilly, as the climate changes because they money is being spent on me, they'll get warmer and I'll be all toasty!

Brilliant!

"I saw an interview with a bnp person who said that british meant "people like him" and that he could trace his ancestry back as purely british thruogh 100 generations."

Fascinating. At a conservative estimate of 4 generations per century (3 would probably be more realistic as, contrary to popular belief, most people did not marry very young in the olden days), this would take us back 2500 years. Well wherever that family tree was being kept, it certainly wasn't in Britain. There was no writing in Britain 2500 years ago. This man is clearly of Egyptian immigrant stock. Throw him out! Let him go back to his bloody pyramids!

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 16:35

yes it's easily done.

Thing is the two are quite differnt in BNP land...

Tamper with a kiddie? String em up! It's a disgrace disgusting not human froth but wait what's that? You say she turned 16 last week? Oh well in that case goooooo on my son and good luck to you, she was asking for it and loved it they all do.

et cetc etc etc

puke

daftpunk · 29/04/2010 16:40

NG just wants to stand up for British born people, he wants to put them first..

What a bastard..

Why don't you lot just carry on letting everyone walk all over you..

SanctiMoanyArse · 29/04/2010 16:45

Coery with a tree like that I am presuming he is born OF King David's line?

I am presuming twatto man meant 100 years. given my Grandad is 90, not long then?

Absolutely DP, what a bastard. Good to see you finally agree.

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 16:49

I am british.

I don't want corporal punishment
I don't want capital punishment
I don't want people to be "incentivised" to leave our shores
I don't want my children to be beaten at school

And I've only read two of the policy pages. i am sure there is plenty more deeply unpleasant stuff on there.

How did you feel when the BNP candidate made his comments about rape and beating women DP? Did you feel proud to be a part of a party that was so in tune with your ideals?

daftpunk · 29/04/2010 16:55

You are linking me comments a total idiot made 5 yrs ago, he was kicked out of the BNP...

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 17:00

What about the rest of it then?

corporal punishment
capital punishment
children beaten at school

all good?

yes they chucked that bloke out of teh party - not surprising as there was outrage in the commons and extensive coverage in the papers. they couldn't really keep him could they. but he was one of their top bods, would be naive to think that fellow bnp top brass were unaware of his views.

do you agree with all their policies dp or just the ones about getting rid of the darkies?

I would love £50,000 and, like everyone else here, I'm not pure British. Do you think he'll give me the money and let me stay and then I can pay the money back in taxes!

posieparker · 29/04/2010 17:15

i love a party that wants to kill the odd innocent, beat children and create a country without any people in it....wow do you have to hand in your brain before entering the ballot box to vote BNP?

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 17:33

Oh hello you two

We can present a united front on this one

posieparker · 29/04/2010 17:38

Hello ISNT!

pigletmania · 29/04/2010 17:38

What an idiot! If he plans to give every person who is not of British ancestry £50K to go back to 'their own country' than Britain will collapse and just go down. Just who does he think pays the taxes, only people who are of British ancestry geese what a moron. My mum came to Britain in the 1960's from Cyprus, she is of Armenian descent, and has worked all of her life, payed her taxes and owns her own home. She has contributed more to this country than most of these racist skinheads.

pigletmania · 29/04/2010 17:41

As far as I am concerned I am British, I was born here, worked here and pay taxes, where exactly is my own contry then, Cyprus where my mum was born or Armenian where we are originally from, never been there and do not speak the language(mum did try and teach me but to no avail). As far as i am concerned Britain is my home so get stuffed Nick Griffin.

ImSoNotTelling · 29/04/2010 17:43

Don't get in a flap piglet

nick g is a wanker

and his is a party of racist nasty-people

all but a very small proportion of the population agree on that

howmuchdidyousay · 29/04/2010 17:46

I am going to vote BNP.I think theuir policies are common sense

booyhoo · 29/04/2010 17:47

howmuch you are clearly out to antagonise people today judging by other posts you have made.

pigletmania · 29/04/2010 17:49

I know GRRRRRR ISNT howmuch are you serious. Wolf in sheep clothing thats what BNP are. What are the chances of them getting into power, none nada

coolma · 29/04/2010 17:52

Bugger, I'll have to go back to Sweden and it's bloody cld there

Cartoose · 29/04/2010 17:55

"by the time he's finished paying 50K to everyone to leave there will just be the one taxpayer forking out for this lot"

Yes Riven, he forgets that many immigrants already pay high taxes (like me for instance).

Grrr I wasn't going to comment on anything NG or BNP related and now I've been drawn in. I know this is a light hearted thread but He's just beyond idiotic isn't he?

abr1de · 29/04/2010 17:56

I really like those big skinheads who flank him (just off camera). They add class. I can imagine going to a winebar and talking books and music with them.

posieparker · 29/04/2010 17:59

Of course the BNP makes sense, I think all members should have their own island, say a floating heap of human waste in the North Sea?

howmuchdidyousay · 29/04/2010 18:17

I believe there should be an end to immigration because we just don't have any more capacity on this island.
I believe we should come out of the EU
I believe there should be higher personal allowances and tax thresholds rather than complicated tax credits.

AliGrylls · 29/04/2010 18:23

But how far back do you have to go on this policy? Is it just one generation or like twenty? What if someone is black British? If they are like 3rd generation they may not even know country of origin - then they may miss their opportunity of £50k and moving to the Caribbean!

It would be a policy impossible to enforce on the basis that most people have a bit of a mix in them nowadays. Unless, he actually wanted to empty the country out completely.

giveitago · 29/04/2010 18:23

Oh daftpunk - thought I'd see you here.

Are you getting all excited about the forthcoming bnp landslide?

Piglet - any country that tried to get the 'foreigners' out in the eu would go down the pan. Got to say many of our eu cousin countries are far more determined to get people back to their 'roots'.

Well, I'm still up for my £50k actually. I an see myself in sunnier climes. That's alot of £50k all round and I don't think the UK can afford it.
