it is a Nestle product though, you may want to avert your eyes www.nestle.co.uk/ourbrands/productrange/creamsanddesserts/carnation/

GoldenSnitch · 25/04/2010 12:46

We're a Nestle free household so I'd have to boil the tins.

Why oh why do the babykillers have to make such nice stuff

dawntigga · 25/04/2010 19:15

Morrisons have a condensed milk of their own. use the recipe but avoid the Nestle;)

Tesco do thier own brand condensed milk too plus a couple of other names I've enver heard of. Seems no one but Nestle do the caramel- in-a-tin though but that's not a problem as I can just boil the tin.

With there was such an easy fix for Aeros and After Eights!

dawntigga · 25/04/2010 19:28

I miss Aero's but you can keep the After Eights!

I've tried the Bubbly Galaxy, it's good. Now they just need to make a mint one

I worship ShowofHands and SueSylvester for this thread.

Very funny.

I have got that Pursuit of Perfection book, it is madness. I can't imagine anyone attempting those recipes at home, apart from weirdy men.
