Oops, damn phone posting

SuSylvester · 22/04/2010 18:28

in a way it would be better as
"heston takes three under 10s to swimming afterschool, does reading to one while barking orders at the other one. he then takes the kids home, tidies, puts a load of washing on and opens fridge, watch heston create from half a tin of beans and some hard cheese, all the time defelcting requests for tea in front of the tv and demands for crisps"

Yabvu, I love him.

seaturtle · 22/04/2010 18:31

Anyone for chicken curry ice cream?

Iklboo · 22/04/2010 18:34

He is the Flim Flam man

deaddei · 22/04/2010 18:36

God this is funny.
Joolyjoolyjoo and TWC (yes it's me again) - classic mumsnet.
I think it's an Emperor's New Clothes scenario- none of these slebs will own up to the fact that the food is SHITE- in case they're seen as thick.

Miggsie · 22/04/2010 18:36

Give him a baby, a toddler and two 5 year old boys to look after, in a semi all day.
He'd be reaching for the fish fingers faster than you can say "I don't have time for this!"

SuSylvester · 22/04/2010 18:37

i think.
why do they invite slebs
Id like them to invite that mner whose dad always has to haev soup at every meal when they come to stay.

that was a good thread.

SuSylvester · 22/04/2010 18:37

( or invite the dad i meant)

"none of these slebs will own up to the fact that the food is SHITE- in case they're seen as thick. "

So, so, so true.

it would make for much better TV if one of the Slebs said "this food is bogging, I think I might barf"

Iklboo · 22/04/2010 18:38

Ooh deadei - was just about to post about Emperor's New Cloves

TheCrackFox · 22/04/2010 18:39

My dad doesn't like "forrin fud", won't even eat pizza so he would be perfect for the next series.

SuSylvester · 22/04/2010 18:39

my dad always/.

Let's get Heston on MN for a live debate !

pointydog · 22/04/2010 18:40

lol @ flim flam man

Greensleeves · 22/04/2010 18:40

I bet that's happened LOADS at the Little Chef

"Mum I asked for a burger and chips, this is ganking can I have summat else?"

TheCrackFox · 22/04/2010 18:42

A friend of a friend went to Heston's Little chef - apparently there was a spotty 17yr old offering to spary "essence of sea" when anyone ordered fish and chips. It was, supposedly, crap.

SuSylvester · 22/04/2010 18:43

Who can take a chicken
Roast in in a sock
Serve it up with dog poo and a bicycle lock
The flim flam man can
Cos he takes some normal food
And make it tastle like gank

shoptilidrop · 22/04/2010 18:46

this thread is awsome. Ikbloo.. that should be the theme tune to his programme.

but i have to confess. i love him. i think hes excellent. Its not suposed to be normal everyday food. we arent suposed to try and cook like it at home.

its fun and very very clever and i would dearly love to watch then eat his creations.

of course, they may taste gank, but thats sort of not the point.

bluebump · 22/04/2010 18:50

Oh I love Heston. I would never eat anything he cooked but I do like watching him.

pinkpineapple · 22/04/2010 18:52

Shoot me if you like - but I love him! Not only is he a chef but an artist too... whats not to like? Don't need to cook his stuff at home, just marvel at the creativity
