Bawbag, electric soup, neds, schemies. ScottishMummy tickles my funny bone most days and I'm not ashamed to admit, I've got a bit of a cyber girl-crush on her.

I don't even care if I am B U.

no she won't kill me, I will just give her that sexy, smouldering look and she will be blancmange

MitsubishiWarrioress · 14/04/2010 16:42

Oi.. I am ScottishMummy's No1 fan.... she's just..... awesome

daftpunk · 14/04/2010 16:51

Mitsu;

Have you ever seen the film Misery..?

Don't ever tell anyone you're their no;1 fan

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 16:53

perhaps MW has hobbled scottishmummy

come to think of it, I haven't seen her for a while...

daftpunk · 14/04/2010 16:54

you crack me up x

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 16:59

it looks bloody painful, that hobbling

pointydog · 14/04/2010 17:04

I think sm hates threads like this. Quite rightly so

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 17:08

all the better, pd

Chandon · 14/04/2010 17:16

yabu

she´s a bully

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 17:18

there is always someone to spoil a thread

Nemain · 14/04/2010 17:33

I am still getting used to her posts. That and deciphering them

ATM she still scares me!

I am personally in awe of anyone that can cut to the chase and give one liners. I am not that articulate, knowledgeable or insightful so to all of them!

porcamiseria · 14/04/2010 17:35

shes online and has ignored you all

HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Magaly · 14/04/2010 17:36

Well SHe's kinda harsh! I've been on the receiving end of her acerbic 'wit' once or twice.

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 17:36

I know porca, I spotted her and was going to link but didn't dare

LittleMissHissyFit · 14/04/2010 17:37

I find her very refreshing

....buthave oftenwondered whatisthe problemwithher spacebar???

junglist1 · 14/04/2010 17:37

She's straight but not nasty IMO. Not a bully

Magaly · 14/04/2010 17:40

Phoebe, I agree, the love-in threads are quite smarmy, nauseating and boring.

giveitago · 14/04/2010 17:41

Well good for you.

Magaly · 14/04/2010 17:45

It depends whether her nastiness was directed at you or not - I suspect if it wasn't, you think it's just refreshing bluntness.

But I'm not slating SM for her posting style. There are others who post in a similar style and it's water off a duck's back to me now I'm so used to mumsnet. But the public and shameless 'crush on her' is nauseating. Jmo.

It takes all sorts, and different strokes etc, but I don't like to see medals being handed out for being 'refreshingly nasty'.

I'll shut the door on my way out and I'll jog on etc...

Glitterknickaz · 14/04/2010 17:47

It's really odd.
Every parenting forum I've been on has had a SM.
All Scottish, all tell it like it is....

Bizarre.

Fliight · 14/04/2010 17:49

Our minds don't usually meet, shall we say

but there you go...it's horses for courses.

It's not really possible to understand what everyone's motives are, so best just to let people get on with it.

I wonder if some people post deliberately to be seen as cynical though, in which case they might not mind if people pick up on this.

Fliight · 14/04/2010 17:51

Did I do OK at being diplomatic, there?

I tried really, really hard.

RebeccaRabbit · 14/04/2010 18:06

I like ex-pat

MadameDefarge · 14/04/2010 19:57

Am I not your crush, DP?

kittywise · 14/04/2010 19:58

creepy
