Grrr, irritating, she must have used the word 'melencholy' more times in the past 20 minutes than most people use in a lifetime.

And does she really think people believe somebody as skinny as she is scoffs vast quantities of cream and bread fried in chicken fat more than once in a lifetime

tethersend - don't worry, it's nothing to do with how she looks that makes her irritating!
As long as you don't talk far too much about what you're doing when you make tea and then take us outside to read us poetry that you feel will make a difference to how your meal tastes, you're just fine.

Oh good.

Do dirty limericks count as poetry?

displayuntilbestbefore · 14/04/2010 11:28

as long as you don't suggest that they will alter the taste of your meal, you can spout limericks as much as you want.
It's the suggestion that Miss Dahl's poetry recitals make her meals even more delicious that leaves a funny taste in my mouth
