to think it is mighty strange for a grown woman to have a piss in the middle in the middle of a playground?

The title says it all really. This afternoon I was out with dd and this woman of about 30 just pulled down her trousers and had a piss in the middle of the playground.

There was lots of shouting and gesticulating at her but she didn't seem to care.

The police were called and she was given a fixed penalty notice and a caution.

She was stone cold sober.

hf, I do have mental health issues and would still find a loo.

woodchuck · 08/04/2010 21:12

Hey Fel1x, do you live near me - a bloke peed against my front door last summer, could it have been your milkman?

hf128219 · 08/04/2010 21:15

That's why I love MN - people jumping on the bandwagon, towing the line, saying what they 'think' others would like them to say.

I am definitely of the 'rank' opinion.

Next? I don't think anything else exciting happened to me today. Well not that I could dare share.

Thing is, in a lot of places (including a lot of parks) there are no public loos. And if you are PG or indeed have a pelvic floor that has never quite recovered from your last DC, you can't always wait till you get home/to the nearest McDonalds or Wetherspoons (both of which being fairly easy to nip in and use the loo without bying anything).
But I still think that one should find a bush or tree to hide behind in those circumstances.

blueshoes · 08/04/2010 21:27

I am disturbed.

In the middle of the playground?

Was she standing or squatting? Did she take any garments off? Did it dribble down her legs? Was she talking to someone at the same time?

lolapoppins · 08/04/2010 21:31

Did she whip a loo roll out of her bag?

You'd think that if you were so unconcerned about peeing in public, you'd go prepared.

hf128219 · 08/04/2010 21:41

In this park there is not only a public loo but there is also a large leisure centre with said facilities.

She literally just pulled down her trousers, had a piss, shook the lettuce and pulled her trousers back up.

hf128 lol aghhh. Sounds rank to me

scottishmummy · 08/04/2010 21:47

shook the lettuce im visualising anthea turner for some inexplicable reason.maybe she has had a grass/piss meltdown

hf128219 · 08/04/2010 21:56

No, it wasn't Anthea Turner.

It was quite skilfully done, albeit very publicly.

Oh Good God,
Is the Mental Health Act not still enforceable? Or do some people have just no shame?!

SalFresco · 08/04/2010 22:01

Nooooooooo to sheewees!!
Got one for Glastonbury last year as was pregnant - why are they so narrow? WHY? Good idea but poorly executed. Even the woman runnning the sheewee urinals agreed.

TheLadyEvenstar · 08/04/2010 22:23

Was she pregnant?? do you know a pregnant woman can relieve herself where ever she is if needed even a policemans helmet if she asks!!!

scottishmummy · 08/04/2010 22:24

and if the policeman is wearing his hat is that permissible?

hf128219 · 08/04/2010 22:26

No, she wasn't pregnant - but she may have been (must remember my MN manners).

OP posts:
TheLadyEvenstar · 08/04/2010 22:30

lol she can ask him for his helmet to wee in if she wants.

StrawberriesAndCherries · 08/04/2010 22:30

how did she respond to the police/the fine they gave her?

Dumbledoresgirl · 08/04/2010 22:32

Just scrolled through quickly and can't see anyone has suggested the thought that first came to my mind.

Perhaps she had a UTI. As a veteran of more serious UTIs than I care to remember, plus a kidney infection, plus major, life saving surgery on my kidney which left me with one of my kidneys partially removed, I can tell you there have been extreme circumstances where I needed to wee in public. I am haunted by one occasion when I literally had to stand still and squeeze and squeeze and squeeze in order to stop the urine flowing from me. I was only about 200 yards from home but there was no way I could get there without having a major accident. I was desperate to pull my pants down and just let go. Fortunately, I was able to overcome the urge and somehow got home though I probably wet myself anyway (have fortunately forgotten that detail).

Have a little compassion and consider that this might have been the case in this woman.

hf128219 · 08/04/2010 22:32

She seemed to look as if she knew the score with the police, as if it was par for the course - you know as if someone had just given her a 99 Flake.
