to find the M&S twiggy & co. adverts very irritating?

Actually, I'm fully aware that I'm being U. There's just something about "sexy" oap Twiggy dancing in her granny jeans that makes my bile duct twitch. Also, Lisa Snowdon, very annoying.

I'm putting it down to PMT but I just turned the television off in a huff as soon as that advert came on.

I love the song and actually I like the advert and the modelly walk.
The denim skirt danni whatshername is wearing is beyond hideous.

oh thank god i thought it was just me!!! absolutely loathe the M & S adverts to the point of actually throwing remote control at telly when Christmas M & S advert came on simultaneously on 4 channels ( i was flicking between programmes)

I find all M&S advertising deeply irritating. The food ones are just as bad as the fashion ones.

You're bang on Catherine. I saw Twiggy on television a few months ago and yep, nowt going on behind the eyes. Also her monotone voice irked me more than is reasonable.

M&S adverts are annoying but for some reason the one with Take That in didn't irritate me...

At the risk of sounding like a bitter old cow, there is something deeply offensive about Myleene. Not sure if it's the way that she tries to have us believe that she's "just like us really" Yes, dear. Because life for us is dropping a sprog, then modelling swimwear/designing baby clothes/appearing all over the idiot box grinning like a demented cheshire cat all whilst being able to pay for the best childcare whilst earning £££££££s for very little.

Or it could just be that she is very annoying with her lollypop woman head.

It was the Easter M&S food advert with that dark haired woman saying

in such an intensely smarmy way. Nothing was bought from M&S at all, to punish them for tormenting me.

YANBU. They are awful. Twiggy needs to turn it in now. And I just find them too provocative.

Dunno about the TV ad, haven't seen it but the posters are dull, pedestrian and unappealing.

Twiggy is pulling a weird face for a start.

And the clothes are hideous.

Twiggy is app very airbrushed on those ads. Hope I look like that when I'm her age. But it does grate that she's so gorgeous.

I don't think that she is that gorgeous, Monty27. I mean, she is clearly attractive but that's all. She's only included in these ads because she's "attractive for her age" which is just patronising.
