I can't be arsed to click the link but guess what -YABU. Facebook is open to stupid people too. And I don't care how stupid they are in the particular category of brain donesr you hve your undies in a bundle about. Brain donors who want to put up funny pages about serial killers or We Hates Immergrunts or Rape Is Fun or whatever - yes, they are stupid, but they kindof have a right to wank on their own keyboards and talk rubbish, and should only have their collars felt if they actually attack anyone..

Thats why on FB they have a reporting system to prevent this kind of rubbish.

SolidGoldBrass, their reporting policy actually has 'race hate speech' as an option so clearly they do want people to report these kinds of thing. I wish they would make it easier to report the people who start the groups though.

Sure, we could leave racially offensive groups on FB.

But then what signal are we sending to our children?

That it is acceptable to write that the immigrants should be put on a boat back home, and then bombed? That is not the worst of the insults, although I did tidy up the language a bit.

It is the responsibility of every single person to bring racial hate crime to the attention of those who can do something about it.

If someone in your office called a client a "dirty n***" and told him to "Fuck off back home" would you accept that as his right to free speech?

Or would you report him to your superiors?
