I do not think it is acceptable to write that immigrants should be put on a boat and bombed amongst other awful posts. These awful posts were on what was a public forum, until a mumsnet thread started and the forum closed their ranks.

TSH you do not answer my questions, so I do not feel any need to answer any questions you pose.

Considering how many people have reported this group I can only imagine that FB are allowing the group to remain as it is now closed

I have known of posts/groups/profiles that have been reported and removed within hours. This has been a week now.

That leads me to believe that FB are not going to remove it unfortunately.

Grr, one of the woman on there had posted making a dig at some comments on one of the threads on there... so I relied to her and she deleted my comment

You may ask what you like, IAABDB . No, I am not BNP. From what little I know about them, I am very much against what they stand for.

Importantly, though, I do believe that whilst they are a legal, democratic party, they have a right to a voice. Same goes for religions, cults, publications and all manner of things that I don't believe in or don't agree with. But to start that discussion really would be to hijack the thread.

I had commented in a convo on the group saying that I would never vote for a political party whose members viewed rape as similar to force-feeding a woman chocolate cake

Then one of the woman, rather that taking it up in the convo posted on the wall WRONG WITH SOME OF YOU, YOU'D VOTE AGAINST BNP COS YOU THINK THEY ACCEPT RAPE WITHIN MARRIAGE BUT YOU DONT MIND THE CULT OF ISLAM, WHO RAPE WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND MARRY THEM OFF TO OLD MEN WHEN THEY ARE AS YOUNG AS 6

msspentyoof you might want to hide your profile pictures and ensure your profile is private - both on FB and mumsnet to ensure you are not able to be identified.

The awful racist hate comments are chilling and you can not predict what they will be like in real life.

Checking your security settings would be a sensible move. Often, photos/wall/info can default to be seen by other members of groups you are in, and these people sound unhinged.

On another note, what on earth have your fb friends said about seeing your new membership?

msspentyoof please do be careful - you know just how awful the FB group thread is - and it warranted the reporting and this thread that you started.

I know another poster contacted the police about this group -and I really believe that was warranted.

0h and msspentyoof if you google "bnp + criminal convictions" it is very scary indeed, so do protect your profiles.
