Its Friday tomorrow, and i've had another awful week and so i will be mainly eating junk food, wearing clothes that make me feel great, curling up on the sofa and having a glass of wine or three.

in totally hippy way, lets have some peace and love out there tomorrow people!

go on, do something that makes you feel good and next week a more positive, happy and chilled out week on mumsnet we will have!
[or maybe just a day. or a couple of hours. where we talk about wine and fun things]

diedandgonetodevon · 18/03/2010 17:35

It's my birthday tommorrow so I shall cetainly be on the junk food & wine wagon with you

cocolepew · 18/03/2010 17:36

The Zulus are coming to perform at the school I work at. They came last year and were amazing, I'm really looking forward to it.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 18/03/2010 17:39

oooops, I did it today - bought myself a pair of to-die-for high heels.

Was a little premature with my spoiling of self!

BritFish · 18/03/2010 17:40

yes, post a picture 2shoes!
and happy birthday diedandgonetodevon [great name btw!]
i have told my DH we're not doing any houswork tomorrow, including washing up, and he practically jumped for joy.
its not wrong to make it your aim to go OVER every 'Guidline Daily/Weekly amount' there is, right?

Ooh yes. I'm having my hair cut & coloured tomorrow, so will be very happy to not look like a badger next week (not that you can see that on mumsnet of course) .

Tomorrow I am going away for 2 days, on my own, to see my best friend. We have known each other for 29 years, and she is 40. We may cry (in a happy way).

I too have had a crap week. Nice thread Britfish

ShadeofViolet · 18/03/2010 17:58

I am off out with my lovely friends tomorrow, once I have stressed about what to wear I will be having a great day.

shockers · 18/03/2010 17:59

I've had an ultra crappy week topped off today by blubbing in front of my ExH (been divorced 19 years!) because he was cross with our son (age 22!). He is the most negative person I know so I have made a pledge both for tomorrow and for the rest of my life to spend lots of time in the company of positive people.
Starting with the huge snog I intend to give DH when he gets home for being nothing like ExH.... followed by Thai curry and wine (gave it up for lent but having night off as directed by Britfish )
Enjoy your friday girls!

KimiGaveUpStarbucks4Lent · 18/03/2010 18:02

BritFish · 18/03/2010 18:06

shockers:

shockers · 18/03/2010 18:18

loujay · 18/03/2010 18:24

Had a crap day today and also have sciatica so I am definately up for doing stuff for myself tomorrow to make me happy...........thankyou

stealthsquiggle · 18/03/2010 18:32

Oh I so wish - can I catch up at the end of the day, maybe, when hopefully my crappy work week and the don't-want-to-work-it-out miles have I have driven this week are both over?

Morloth · 18/03/2010 18:36

I would like to be pushing a baby out tomorrow. He is due today and is far too damned comfortable.

KatieScarlett2833 · 18/03/2010 18:38

I feel a caramel chunky kit-kat coming on, or maybe two since it's Friday ...

BritFish · 18/03/2010 18:47

you can catch up stealth, you must go home, have a long luxurious bath/shower, eat something delicious and generally be in a state of pure bliss.

i havnt tried the caramel kitkats katie, are they good??

I have a day off work tomorrow

yippeeeee

I shall read Heat magazine, Mumsnet like crazy and maybe go shopping for summery clothes

KatieScarlett2833 · 18/03/2010 19:08

Caramel chunky kit kats are gods gift to chocolate. Picked one up last week and thought I'd died and gone to chocolate heaven.

EllieMental · 18/03/2010 19:11

I'm going to help a young 'un make a hanging basket for her first ever home.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/03/2010 19:16

I'm off to the optician tomorrow - sounds very boring I know, but it means I can get some new glasses and be able to see properly again!

I can stop invading all you lovely MNers' personal space as I'll no longer be two inches from the screen breathing through my mouth. Hurrah!

(I know, it's an attractive mental image, please don't let me put you off your Friday night jollity)

AnneElliot · 18/03/2010 19:23

We had a nice day today.

Brought home a big branch from the river, and have been decorating it with "easter" decorations - cut out butterflys, egg box caterpillars, and lots and lots of tissue paper covered eggs...

It looks interesitng

And we have made chocolate brownies.

DH is a bit and to come home to a 6 ft dead branch in the living room. I have reassured him taht after easter we can chop it up for kindling...
