Its Friday tomorrow, and i've had another awful week and so i will be mainly eating junk food, wearing clothes that make me feel great, curling up on the sofa and having a glass of wine or three.

in totally hippy way, lets have some peace and love out there tomorrow people!

go on, do something that makes you feel good and next week a more positive, happy and chilled out week on mumsnet we will have!
[or maybe just a day. or a couple of hours. where we talk about wine and fun things]

I am getting the early train with DH, DS2 and DD to London to catch the Eurostar for a couple of days in Paris, including the England V France rugby international.

We are staying at posh hotel, sightseeing, eating out lots and probably a bit of shopping too.
Other than watching England sadly get their arses kicked I plan to have a lovely time

Numberfour · 18/03/2010 19:26

i have had a vomitty (in the literal sense),too. and being on a v v v strict diet, i will skip the wine.

BUT: I will choose the colours for our lounge to be painted (rented house with .... wait for it..... sunshine yellow walls) and will choose new curtains to compliment the non yellow walls.

best i can come up with at such short notice. and i would prefer to skip the bumsex, but thanks reminding us all

pointydog · 18/03/2010 19:35

I will be wearing my large, suck-it-all-in pants tomorrow and they make me feel good.

All the best, morloth!

pointydog · 18/03/2010 19:36

aw, pag, a trip to paris. You'll be the happiest of all

EllieMental · 18/03/2010 19:41

oh wow Morloth! Er, happy, er pushing!

shockers · 18/03/2010 19:53

Phoned DH and asked him to nip to Sainsburys on the way home for coconut milk. He's arrived home with that and a bottle of Pouilly Fume... I bloody love this man

Nemofish · 18/03/2010 20:02

Fuck it I'll join in...

I have been coveting clothes from white stuff, joe browns and next all week, tomorrow night I will order then and clap my hands for joy after hitting the 'add to basket' button. Ooh and maybe books from amazon...

I am able to comfortably spend the money, but I feel guilty 'just because.' Dh tells me to stop being daft and buy. Just not to tell him what it cost (he is of a delicate disposition, would faint and require smelling salts)

minxofmancunia · 18/03/2010 20:32

I've had a shit week. May go to the trafford tomorrow for some retail therapy. Might indulge myself with some red wine in the evening.

The ideal day would be for someone to look after ds all day, dawn til dusk so I could have a break from the endless mind numbing routine but unfortunately that isn;t going to happen.

GoldenSnitch · 18/03/2010 20:40

I'm going to be having a messy play party for my DS and a few of his little friends to celebrate his 3rd birthday. Best bit is, we're doing it at a local pottery place so I don't have to clean up afterwards

SarfEasticated · 18/03/2010 20:49

my birthday tomorrow too - I will have a lovely happy day, or my husband will suffer

shockers · 18/03/2010 22:49

Happy birthday to Sarf

Britfish... the (very nice) wine went down beautifully

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE

Madascheese · 19/03/2010 07:56

Happy Friday all of you, and and Happy Birthday to those to whom it applies - esp Morloth, hope you get to have a brand new birthday today as well.

I shall be indulging myself wildly today, volunteer shift at DS playgroup this morning which is generally really enjoy, then a big long walk in the gorgeous March sunshine (DS idea of heaven!)

Then lovely DP gets home tonight and I've really missed him this week.

I bloody love Fridays!

SarfEasticated · 19/03/2010 10:03

Are we having fun yet? Thanks for the birthday wishes, so far have had a cup of coffee made for me... How things change when you're a mum. Someone at work gave me a bunch of flowers and I almost wept with gratitude! Pre dd I would have considered flowers as standard

hope we all have a lovely day xxx

Floopy21 · 19/03/2010 10:08

Happy Happy Day!!

I am having a wonderful day already, skiving off work in the sunshine, doesn't get much better than this! Might go really crazy & clean my windows later, which sadly, would make me very happy

EllieMental · 19/03/2010 12:19

It's my day off, the sun is shining, I have done two hours' hard labour at my allomtent and planbted peas, onions, lettuce, parsnips and spring onions, and have been given some parsnips to make soup with. Then a friend is coming and we are going to make her some hanging basketsd for her first ever house, then after school me and my boys are going out for tea and cake.
Ruddy marvellous!
