I do appriciate I'm being pathetic but ah well!

Made cards with all 3 charges for mothers day, helped make presents (nm just photo of all 3 kids in a frame we all made) and bought a present on behalf of the kidaroos (keyring with picture of them in(£7)

I KNOW £7 isnt a huge amount nor the cost of printing photos and buying frame to dexorate, but it took ages etc...(pathetic i know!) but would a "thank you" from charges mum have been to much to ask?

Feeling a bit taken advantage of recently hence my probable unreasonbleness!!

Hey you!

You spotted me last night on the cups thread - I was going to write you a big post yesterday about going back to work but was on darn phone again and was only doin little writing.

So here I am!

You didn't find me on the masterchef thread! - think I am on dangerous territory - a pre- middle aged woman fancying young men. Rather like a Little Britain sketch I think.

Am just MNing and drinking a starbux instant and therefore thinking about you mydear!

Easter was good - had 17 children round on monday for egg hunt in the orchard suburban garden and spag bol for them and the grownups! Aargh. I spilt the spag bol on my chest (and favourite top) as I lifted it out of slow cooker. wtf? I also missed a right opportunity - hunky doctor was in the garden and I didn't call him to apply a cold compress to my wounded (and bright red) cleavage - just gritted my teeth and got on with service. Hardy soul that I am.

What did you do with your time off? I am vv envious - I never seem to have time off really but my DH lets me have a lie-in most days when he's not at work.

My lovely DM cooked easter Sunday late lunch for us all after I'd spent the day in bed with a migraine.

I'm going to MN iron now for a while then - off to rollerdisco. Yay! But Boo! as got to take DS as well so will need to entertain him rather than just sit and chat to friends.

How's your caffeine situation? And how on earth can you manage to visit Starbux 3 times in one day? I obviously need to work on my skills - please send me strategies.

What did you do with your time off? Do you live with parents? Do you miss the charges when you're not with them? and BIG QUESTION did you make easter gifts for the charges' parents?

Also am very impressed with your knowledge of Frasier - thought you would be far too young!

See you soon am off to other threads for a while.

MilkNoSugarPlease · 07/04/2010 22:45

Hello!

I know! I waved frantically at you

I avoid masterchef threads like the plague...because I start talking about my lust for BOTH blokes and people back away slowly

Ooh I had a starbucks instant today (Not that I keep them in my bag though, you understamd twas delicious!

I also had starbucks real coffee to

What I drink there depends on what I'm doing...for example (feel free to fall asleep whilst I explain )

On the way to work -Skinny Tall Latte, extra shot of espresso.

At work-Skinny tall latte, room for milk, slightly cooler then normal (due to not wanting to drop it on child!!!!)

At work (once picked up older two from school)- Skinny Grande Cappuccino, room for milk etc

During the summer-Skinny caramel Frappacino, no cream

When I'm stressed-Grande skinny latte, 2 shots of espresso, 2 sugars, extra hot

Oh god now I want coffee!!

Caffine situation is terrible! Credit card machine wasnt working and I had no cash this morning...I nearly cried! I may need to curb it soon!

SEVENTEEN CHILDREN? Are you mad?? Quite curious as to where you live though! No wonder you have a butler and staff!!

You FOOL! hunky doctor and you didn't call him! hell Id've thrown the rest of the dinner over me just for him to come!

Didn't do much! had a looovely lie in on the friday...well I say lie in...more like a day in got out of bed at 4pm then shopping on saturday, Pub roast on sunday and went to the funfair on monday!

Went on the Waltzers 4 times...so frigging fast was unbelievable! now have hurt my neck back and leg on the damn thing

Do you live with parents? My parents? Yup! people think I should move out as im 21 (22 in june, Im old!!) but i pay 250 a month rent to them and that does me fine! Ill live at home for a while yet

Do you miss the charges when you're not with them? I do Sometimes! but is lovely to go back and see them specially the littlie, I was there before she was born so seen her at least 4 times a week for nearly a year! (Her first word was my name

and BIG QUESTION did you make easter gifts for the charges' parents? course not

I LOVE Frasier! first saw the episode where they hold a dinner party at Niles and Maris's beach house and a dead seal washes up and it stinks etc....oh lordy that set me a fan for life!

Ridiculously love Will and Grace to!

Important questionf for you...did you watch Dr.Who?

Hello whippersnapper.

Sooooo - what made you become a nanny?

I am shattered - school holidays are exhausting - only a week to go. But I will be sad to see them back at school.
Went out to fantastic Slimbridge wildfowl centre yesterday and blardy DD3 left her camera there.

You sound like you had a lovley Easter weekend. It's been years since I've been to a funfair. Think when Teenagerdom hits the Chaos household I will have to be doing all that again.

£250 a month - I think you are a fab daughter - I hope you do chores too.

OohOoh - like your style in TV, but, don't break friends, I DO NOT like Doctor Who. Soso sorry.

Am just catching up with the Mentalist. yumyum Simon Baker. I'll have sweet dreams tonight.

Been to Costa today but coffee was too strong, and was a takeaway so couldn't return it. boohoo.

Off to beach tomorrow - DH will make some Starbux filter coffee for us to take so I will raise a cup too you from sunny Wales.

See you soon.

MilkNoSugarPlease · 10/04/2010 23:07

Hello old fogie

worked in a nursery for all of 6 mnths and didnt like it! was too restricting! so thought i'd part time nanny (just school pick up to evenings) for a bit until i decided what i wanted to do then the kids mum said she was pregnant so would i like to do full time, 20mnths later im still there doing 60+ hours a week and i love it!

School holidays are knackering...why do they have so much more energy!? it triples in the holidays im sure!
Oh no! can you get it back?

Teenagerdom may pass with incident

I do do SOME chores but i work 60/70 hour weeks so not at home much but i do erm, vacum

it's ok I will deal with it, but your missing out I tell you! I WANT a Dalek

I really wanted to watch that but missed the first few and was lost after that! but I so have to get the boxset!

I hate it when that happens!!

I went to starbucks today and they forgot to make my coffee stood there for ages but they gave me 2 vouchers for a free drink of mychoice any size, so happy days (I only bought a tiny latte )

Oh well done DH! I will raise my coffee to your from sunny london

love to Jeeves!

"Teenagerdom may pass with incident" ROFL.

And am mighty cross at "old fogie" fgs I'm 38 and 13 months.

Isn't it strange how so many people's temporary jobs take root and ......................... 20 years they're still doing the same thing. Be afraid. Ha.

Yep you need Simon Baker in a box.

What's your position on Friends? Be careful - you may upset me!

Whippersnapper you should be out on saturday nights.

Will phone Slimbridge on Monday to see if they'll post it out to me. £££££££

Sleep tight.

MilkNoSugarPlease · 11/04/2010 08:39

Well you never know!! You may havs DC's that don't succumb to teenagerdom! on the other hand you could have DC's that are the worst teenagers ever but Jeeves will sort them out!

I know! 17 years ago my mum was hauled in to do 6weeks in her particular job, 17 years later she's still therre! and is the Big Boss

He so looks like the dude who was in home and away (Characters name was Peter Baker!)! And her was YUM!! (I think I may watch to much home and away and neighbours )

Friend's is crap Noo I'm joking love love love love love it!!
Still makes me laugh even though ive seen each episode dozens of times

I did all my going out and getting pissed 3x a week when i was about 12! I'm passed all that now I'm 22 in June, thats Old!

Ooh fingers crossed they do!

Have a good Sunnyday , you old fogie

How was the seaside? I raised a cup of starbucks instant to you today!

Weather was loovely and warm!

excpt I wore denim shorts and have just realised I do NOT have the figure to pass them off

Did you eat ice cream

OP posts:
MilkNoSugarPlease · 12/04/2010 21:53

Am now going to change my eating habits, I HAVE to lose weight! so I need to cut down caffine
so i drink more water

TO 1 OR 2 CUPS A DAY...This is utterly insane

And frankly impossible

OP posts:
chaostrulyreigns · 13/04/2010 22:42

Seriously not going out on a staurday at 22 makes me but maybe I was just a lush.

How goes the caffeine withdrawal? I went to M&S with 2 mates and 5 DDs today (joys of school holidays) while the other 2DDs and a DS went to a cinema party! My DS was with my DM. Just in case that didn't make sense I had 2 DDs with me, Mate1 had 2 DDs with her and Mate2 had 1 DD with her while our 7 year olds were at a party. Anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyy, I had I lovely cappuccino and DD1 and DD2 conned me into getting them a luxury HotChoc for £2.35 which they then faffed with and left 2/3s.

Seaside was lovely but the flask DH put the coffee in didn't keep it hot so I raised a lukewarm coffee to you.

We missed out on ice cream! But had fish and chips on the harbour on way home. So that was almost as good.

Which Friend was your favourite?

Have you had much water?

Yep Simon Baker was in H&A and Heartbreak High!

Tried Slimming World fortnight ago but leader was an obnoxious woman so I am uninspired about going back. tuttut.

Off to see a mate's new house tomorrow, see Mate1's DD3 for her birthday then rollerdisco! When will I fit my coffee in? Although I may take them to John Lewis to look for shoes/bed linen! and they love ThePlaceToEat, so may get my fix there.

Nightnight mydear.

Dogandbone · 13/04/2010 22:58

Someone told me something that I have found valuable. Don't lend anything, including money, that you can't afford to lose. If you lent anything, consider it given, otherwise one gets worked up when it is broken.

In my experience, not being thanked is just something to get used to, otherwise I would get cross. Logically, we should only do things that we get thanked for.

chaostrulyreigns · 20/04/2010 12:57

Hey.

How goes the anti-coffee life?

Am in Pret in Selfridges people watching and raising a decaff cappuccino to you mydear!

Catch you soon!

MilkNoSugarPlease · 20/04/2010 22:45

It's going good! Im drinking 3 cups a day....ok ok they may be large size but it's the same right

Ooh fancy! I love Selfridges...tis my favourite shop in the world

I raise my delightful bottle of water to you!

Love to Jeeves!
