To all the women making fools of theselves by inventing some rape angle in the 'Pepsi' advert thread. It's an advert - she makes a move on the man.

End of discussion.

Close the thread, step away from the computer and at least pretend to have a life.

Well at least it's is not a thread about skittles and smacking!

tethersend · 14/03/2010 18:29

Can I have a list in advance of the views I can and can't have?

It would be helpful to know when posting...

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 14/03/2010 19:26

YABU
why don't you get a life.

activate · 14/03/2010 19:28

there's a rape angle in the pepsi advert?

really?

wtf?

nickytwotimes · 14/03/2010 19:28

SuperSmartMum, you have one of the least appropriate names I have ssen on here, based on the ridiculous posts I have read from you inthe last few hours.

How very grown up - to start to bully me as I hold some different opinions to some of the other mums on here.

To sumarise:

I don't see the 'rape' angle in the Pepsi advert

I don't think making your kids sit on the naughty chair is crime of the century

I don't think breastfeeding should be caried out with older todlers

and finally,

I don't agree with making fellow mums feel guilty about having to leave their children in the care of their grandpaperents for three nights

Sorry if that doesn't make me a good mum but please less of the name-calling, bitching and bullying.

OP posts:
tethersend · 14/03/2010 19:44

God, thanks for that, SuperSmartMum.

I'm so relieved to know what you think on these issues. It is, after all, the only reason I read the threads- to find out your views.

You've saved me the trouble this evening

AnyFucker · 14/03/2010 19:44

SSM, you are a troll

your first few posts are deliberately inflammatory

most new posters would feel their way for a while, before jumping straight in to "disagree" with people in such an obvious, in-your-face way

jog on, now

oh, and get a life too

tethersend · 14/03/2010 19:45

That's the first time I've ever seen anyone use the words "End of discussion" in their OP.

nickytwotimes · 14/03/2010 19:46

I'm not knocking your parenting - I am dubious about you 'supersmart' credentials.

And it was you who started a thread telling others to get a life!

SuperSmartMum · 14/03/2010 19:48

AnyFucker - you don't know me in real life. I speak my mind in the real world - you know, the world outside of MN - so I'll speak my mind online.

If I read some utter rubbish like - ooh, please don't tell a child if it's been naughty because they may get a wincy but upset - I'll say so.

Now, I'm not going to get personal with you as I don't know you but with your username, it looks like you're simply online to start a row and try and cyber bully me until I commit suicide - well, sorry luv, it's not going to happen.

Now, be a good little girl and jog on will you?

OP posts:
AnneElliot · 14/03/2010 19:48

"Carried out with older toddlers..." you mean you don't want an older child to watch whilst you feed a newborn?

Tsk... what do you want Mum to do? Sit in a cupboard and feed?

What an odd stance

tethersend · 14/03/2010 19:50

I have no problem with you speaking your mind SSM, I just don't think it's going to take that long...

BessieBoots · 14/03/2010 19:52

Why do you have to start a whole new thread on the Pepsi thing, seeing as there's one already? And the bullying accusation is pretty rich seeing as you started a thread specifically to say people were making fools of themselves on other threads...

AnyFucker · 14/03/2010 19:53
Biscuit
FabIsDoingPrettyWell · 14/03/2010 19:56

Leave AF alone.

AnyFucker · 14/03/2010 19:59

thanks fabby x

but I suspect we just need to give "SuperSMart"Mummy enough rope and all that...

Ooh someone told me to "jog on" this week! Same poster maybe? Not a phrase I am familiar with.

Portofino · 14/03/2010 20:03

oh that's it - the poster who took exception to someone else's posting style.....
