oh don't worry, it was a blinder this morning

it has glitter - AND - turquoise jewels on
the sparkly lady is looking straight at us in a smouldering fashion from under her chic little veil

i also got a hand drawn one with me smiling at a cormorant

and ds2 scribbled on a card, when asked in a pleased way "who drew this, ds2?" he answered "Dada"

SinginHinny · 14/03/2010 11:35

'smiling at a cormorant' . That's just brilliant. I got me in pink high heels

I'm so pleased you got the special card to add to the collection though. I am feeling slightly like I want a 'chic little veil' now.

I'm very happy now that I know you got your card .

CoupleofKooks · 14/03/2010 14:19

look i tried to find the exact card for you hinny as i knew you would appreciate it

there are 96 of the buggers! and ds will not rest until he has bought me every one

well, it's not mother's day here (US) so dd/dh won't bother. then when it IS mother's day, dh will say 'we're british, no point'.

actually, we both kind of feel that the big winners for mother/father day are the card/flower industry etc. also, don't want dd to feel compelled to buy us things every year when we don't know what we want, so both inclined to give it a big miss.

anyway - have the clocks changed in the UK?

sort of feel that we should skype the mothers, but don't know what time it is for you lot.

Clocks don't change until the last weekend in March iirc. They didn't change this w'end anyway.
