How the hell do they have time to bring up six children, horses, dogs and chickens. Run 3 homes, countless shops and travel the world.
I struggle with 1 house, 2 children, 1 cat, 1 hamster and 2 goldfish, HELP!!

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:12

They will have staff - lots of

uggmum · 11/03/2010 16:13

Ah, she says she is 'blessed with extreme energy' what bollocks!

BadGardener · 11/03/2010 16:13

because they are superior beings, Uggsmum. They're clearly much cleverer and better organised than us - it's why they're rich and we're not.

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:14

and a huge inheritance before they even started the company i expect.

SixtyFootDoll · 11/03/2010 16:16

Hilarious, absolutely poncetastic!

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:16

snort "extreme energy"

ant3nna · 11/03/2010 16:16

She's blessed with performance enhancing substances more like.

itsmeitsmeolord · 11/03/2010 16:18

"extreme energy" = heavy coke habit.

Hence that piled up kids picture. She was high as a kite at the time, they were pinning her down to stop her from flying off to Milan for another set of used flip-flops.

porcamiseria · 11/03/2010 16:18

Do you reckon those two have wife swapping parties with Johnny Fucking Boden and his missus.

LOL!!!! Yes, and maybe a threesone with chocolate sloaney twat, you know the one, they must be mates

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:19

Telegraph

"It's one of the few offices where the number of horses stabled next door exactly matches the number of staff."

theQuibbler · 11/03/2010 16:19

It is extraordinary what some people will buy if it is "vintage" and "French".

DH comes from a small village in the South of France and each Spring, the villages have "vide-grenier". They are basically a collective village garage sale. Everyone empties out the kids old toys and the crap that's been sitting around all year, sticks it out on the doorstep and you wander around and pick up stuff for a euro or so.

Last year, I picked up some of those old glass water containers - you know the ones with pernod or whatever on them - for about a quid each. And I saw them on an equivalent website to the pedlars for about £60

I should offer my services. DH's father has a cellar full of tat authentic French artefacts.

A fool and his money etc., etc.,

porcamiseria · 11/03/2010 16:20

TBH can you imagine anyone buys this stuff? really? surely not?

YanknCock · 11/03/2010 16:25

This kind of site magically turns me into some sort of ranting communist, I must stop looking.

Cannot believe people waste this much money on fooking useless tat--they must have very empty lives. And people are starving! And children can't get a decent education! And....and.....

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:28

interview for Rugby school

"it can take half a dozen adults to
create a decent picture of a lampshade."

Really ?

TheSmallClanger · 11/03/2010 16:32

From the Telegraph article: "Caroline designed for Laura Ashley, "when it was respectable"".

Obviously, darling.

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:32

This looks like a olly place to summer

www.balbegnocastle.co.uk/

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:34

Oh my is it not respectable anymore !!!

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:34

I meant Jolly not olly BTW

claraquack · 11/03/2010 16:36

This thread is brilliant and has cheered me up no end. The ladder for nearly £300 in particular!

These people have GOT to be friends with the ones who extort thousands of pounds from rich Londoners for a weekend on a farm where you can rent chickens. And pay £50 for a beef stew or something. There was a thread about it a few weeks ago.

LadyBiscuit · 11/03/2010 16:37

I want to know how much Balbegno Castle costs to rent. But I don't think I can ring and ask without sounding shocked and appalled at the price. What do you reckon? £10k a week?

porcamiseria · 11/03/2010 16:37

HA HA NOT TOO MANY BOOKING FOR THAT CASTLE!!!!
god get back to work why am I looking WHY?????

mathanxiety · 11/03/2010 16:39

LadyBiscuit, if you have to ask...

Kneazle · 11/03/2010 16:40

The price is on the site Lady it is quite cheap we could do a mumsnet trip there. I have to stop looking, the internet is infested with Pedlars very depressing.

LadyBiscuit · 11/03/2010 16:43

Gosh that's not bad is it? I'd be quite tempted only I'm loathe to give them any of my hard earned cash
