AAAArrrggggggggggggggggghhh!

Right, sorry, move along now, have screamed and got it off chest. Actually it is mainly one particular poster who is irritating me with saccharine tweeness.

OP posts:
Quinine · 09/03/2010 09:01

It saddens me a bit that the worst insult on here seems to be to describe the OP in the third person as mad. Cheap, inappropriate and fairly disrespectful to those who genuinely suffer from a mental illness.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 09/03/2010 09:10

Quinine - who has described anyone as mad?

minxofmancunia · 09/03/2010 09:15

Oh sod off, have already said I am not going to name the poster. And nobody said it was threads I'm on so it will not be possible to identify. Have you never just vented about something?

I'd rather people were nice on MN personally. Especially if it's a mum who is struggling with a baby not feeding or sleeping well. They need encouragement. (Obviously totally excluding the AIBU topic section here, as that's a different story!)

Maybe its me you're talking about, as I always try to be kind?

If you haven't even posted on that subject, why does it annoy you so much? As the sweetness wouldn't have been directed at you anyway

I agree with Ewe: YANBU to think it, YABU to post though...

Sorry for my little essay.

Yup, what Ewe said.

You have been here long enough to know how these end up.

Anyway sweetie, I hope you are feeling better since you started this thread. Snuggles and kisses.

ManyTimesAnHour · 09/03/2010 09:30

It's not something that was said, it is something that a certain poster always does and i cannot say any more as it would be identifiable. But of course i am not annoyed with someone for being kind . it is more along the lines of 'hun'ism.

I really think that given some of the bitchiness that goes on on here, personal attacks and so on, that someone having a vent which is not directed at anyone identifiable is really the least of your worries.

Why the hell would i get it deleted, it hasn't identified anyone!

It's the principle though isn't it? People (unless purposely trolling) should be able to say what they want on here in whatever form they want. If it annoys you, hide it. Don't make snide comments about the poster. There will be loads of people now worrying you mean them....

Alright, AIBU.
But I think some of your reactions were a little bit extreme.

I think from this description it is pretty obvious to anyone who is a regular who you are on about. I think you are being very unkind. The poster in question is not a 'hun', and even if she is what is it to you? Just ignore and don't start bitchy threads like this.

satc2bringiton · 09/03/2010 09:40

YABU

Is this really all you have to worry about?

ChickensHaveSinisterMotives · 09/03/2010 09:41

Weird thread. I know its not me, though, because I'm plain evil.

daftpunk · 09/03/2010 09:42

Porto....you're beating me....!

scottishmummy · 09/03/2010 09:43

puerile to bitch about another poster.think you need to learn some distance and differentiate that this is not real.is mere internet chat.words on a screen.if you find it impacts so i suggest you switch off, and switch off

ps,is it me?

it is threrads like this that make me like MN, so many parenting sites only ever have sweet lovely posts. This is a this is what I think post - it is a site that welcomes a wide diverse opinion - or should theless palatable (sp?) ones be hidden?

no one has said you can't argue with her and her post is in AIBU not chat

I have no idea if YABU or Not but am suprised that you have been jumped on .

2shoes · 09/03/2010 09:44
