I don't think having a wee bit of taste makes you shallow or snobby. I reguarly go to car boot sales and see perfectly nice moses baskets for sale for £5 ish, so there is no excuse for this.

scottishmummy · 05/03/2010 21:04

tbh,£5 and if you are on limited budget fair enough.long as it is safe and comfy not worst i have seen

i think it is rather unkind though

MrsC2010 · 05/03/2010 21:17

Just what I've been looking for for our not yet born PFB! Thanks!

thecoffeelady · 05/03/2010 21:29

it was pretty hideous. I saw one on ebay a few weeks ago that had more frills but it was leopard print, now that was truly ugly. There is a whole wealth of stuff that I would consider to be ugly old tat on ebay but as my granny and the wombles would say, ones mans rubbish is another mans treasure.xx

Ditto, the material is shit but so what?

SpeedyGonzalez · 05/03/2010 22:35

Oh, grief, to those of you saying I'm being unkind, have you never laughed at something you thought was in bad taste? Unless of course...it's touched a raw nerve! In which case, oops!

MrsC2010, glad to be of service!

I saw that one 'thecoffelady' wasnt it on for £200? .

I lurrrve a bit of bad taste but strongly feel it should be cheap.

WeNeedToLeaveInFiveMinutes · 05/03/2010 23:49

It's horrible! I got a great moses basket from an NCT sale for my DS1 for a fiver so I'm certainly not snobby about second hand or cheap stuff. I wouldn't have liked to look at this one for six months though.
