do not click if you have a sensitive disposition (if it disappears you can scroll down to see the item - if you want to!)

It got nine bids. I repeat, NINE BIDS.

I quite like it.

sweetcat · 05/03/2010 17:33

Same as someguy I was looking for something disgusting. Not to my taste but not vomit inducing really is it?

emmymama · 05/03/2010 17:33

thank god its gone before my mother saw it!

reminds me of the pram she rescued from a bring and buy for ds, exactly the same as the one she had for my 17 yr old sister

SpeedyGonzalez · 05/03/2010 17:38

2shoes...yes! It arrived yesterday! I've fallen in love...

sweetcat + someguy, you've clearly desensitised yourselves by buying stuff like this (yes, I've seen your mantelpieces )

speedy, those are mega expensive - tatt but mega expensive

SpeedyGonzalez · 05/03/2010 17:50

Rofl at sweetcat! You will love all of these...

LEM (discombobulated is one of my FAVE words! ) seriously?

LeQueen - Well said. I have already reported the seller and buyer to Social Services...

OP posts:
tartyhighheels · 05/03/2010 17:54

ooh my giddy aunt, that's a monster.....

PortBlacksand · 05/03/2010 17:54

It's quite sweet really. I mean that. Tasteful beige / cream gets a bit dull after a while. I bet you folks that find it revolting think one bold 'feature' wall in your house is daring....

lilysmummy2007 · 05/03/2010 18:03

Wow, how shallow, not everyone can afford new Stokke sleepi cots for their newborn. This is a horrible thread and OP should think about the fact that one day she could be in a position where she would be glad to get one of those moses baskets for free.

feedtheyakandhewillscore · 05/03/2010 18:04

I work near a shop that sells them! It's an elderly lady who makes them herself! Don't ever see many people in there!

Bleatblurt · 05/03/2010 18:06

I think it's quite cute.

sweetcat · 05/03/2010 18:07

speedy those are great though the clown one would give me the shits! Perhaps that's the point?

Lilysmummy, as speedy has already pointed out she was looking at second hand baskets herself so isn't being snooty.

lifeas3plus1 · 05/03/2010 18:14

I bet some grandmother (to be) bought it to present to her poor unsuspecting granddaughter/daughter in law.

What do you say if you receive that has a present?

Oh my! How... erm... lovely!

SpeedyGonzalez · 05/03/2010 18:33

Sweetcat, you are on a roll! And thanks for pointing out the utter nonsense people have been posting here about price... This is not an especially long thread, they really could have read further on.

feedtheyak - I wonder if this is one of her specials?!

Portblacks - yes, it's always uncomfortable when someone else disagrees with our taste, isn't it? Oh well, that's life!

OP posts:
PortBlacksand · 05/03/2010 20:01

Well, yes. But i wouldn't "vomit" at your taste - that's all.

lovechoc · 05/03/2010 20:03

appearance isn't everything to some people and if it's perfectly serviceable then why not buy the moses basket???

EggyAllenPoe · 05/03/2010 20:08

none too tasteful really. ihave a more tasteful item from ebay that only got my bid. I don't like those flimsy frames that they put those on - mine is much studier -
frankly buying such an item is not the choice of poverty (that would trying to scoop a single-bid item, or get sth from a car boot!)

thehillsarealive · 05/03/2010 20:10

lol dont like the chintzy cover, but you can remove them cant you????? to put your own tasteful bodenesque/cath Kidson/grannies knickers frufru on instead???

I love ebay, some of the sights you see!

... think i might need to get a job ...

ImSoNotTelling · 05/03/2010 20:18

I quite like it too

Some people are so pedestrain

ImSoNotTelling · 05/03/2010 20:19

*pedestrian , rather.

LampostMadeMeBald · 05/03/2010 20:22

iwas sick a litte bit in my mouth then i swallowed it

probonino · 05/03/2010 20:24

yes this was the thing about fifteen years ago and it would have been considered understated and even somewhat sophisticated because of the blue and beige

don't be mean about it though

everything changes

chegirlshadabloodynuff · 05/03/2010 20:34

Whats wrong with it?

I wouldnt mind it at all.

At least it hasnt got fecking winnie the pooh on it.

I thought it was going to be covered in diamonte or something (now that I would bid on).
